6 hours for a £6 loss

Post by Nixxy »

Went on my usual route today...

£53 in King's Ransom for £75 out
£30 in 50p/£25 On a Roll for £75 out
£6 in DOND WIYB for no win
£13 in JTRAR in a hard-to-key location for no win (before finding out it was £83 light.. eek)
£57 in Life's a Beach for £75 top
£65 in Grub-a-dub-dub for £78 out
£110 in Invincible for £125 out

and then things started to go pear-shaped:

£45 in JITC for a £27 Crazy Reels, then dead;
£10 in Stack Attack for no board, (pubs were getting packed with Arsenal/Chelsea fans by this point - hard to key discretely)
£140 in Rocket Money - backing after £9 in, showing ARB1 boards for ages before going green again - then finally relenting and going for a flat £25 top after £132 in  followed quickly by a £75 top and then died on its arse
£75 in Mental Money Monsters (first time I've seen one of these) for £50 out (then refused to give me a board for £8 so I ran)

So £604 in for £598 out. Not good, especially for a Sunday.

But factor in the 4 pints and 3 bottles of Bud I bought during that time, plus one train and three bus rides, and it was a very cheap pub crawl! :)

Anyone have better luck today?

Havent played anything but last night i played a Fun nudging criminals for the first time. Didn't like the top feature layout. Made 20 quid off it though. Didn't play anything else over the weekend so can't really comment lol

I hate them days Nixxy
Had one like that Friday

JP Gems full and red straight away
£90 in for £75 back
OAR full £81 in for a £25 then a £50
Extreme's made £20
LAB £40 in for £25
£30 in for another £25 then dead
TAW £8 for a board to find it 1 nudging

Nothing else worth playing at this point

Had better luck today
CCP £60 in for £130 back
OAR £70 in for £134 back (£25 top then £75 then JP + safe cash)
TAW £10 in for JP
Extreme's £30 made

Ended up being a very good weekend
I am happy with my £170+ profit yet annoyed that friday the m/c's i played should clearly have given me a better profit
Some days just go like that and you just have to give up that day
At least you were not out of pocket :D

£150 off 2 JP gems which were redding and both full from the off, by far my favourite red gaming by a long shot

Total profit of £150 after all expenses were deducted.

Then again I drive which is a major bonus, a JPTRAR in a hard to key place, should you even be playing this machine.

I used to buzz off it at the start when they were first released as the first couple of streaks were £130+ now they are just dire

That's a fair comment - but it's in one of those very expensive swanky wine bar style refurbished pubs - full of people forever 'doing lunch' - and it's also a 50p stake m/c, so it often gets refilled by clueless happy-go-lucky types who are happy to take features before discovering that they're only gonna gain them £3 wins. Hence it fills back up okay and doesn't often get hit.

It's very often full when I get there, especially after a Saturday night, alas today I think somebody beat me to it :(

I managed to make £170 on friday, which was probably my best days profits for a year or so. Everything i went on just turned into gold! Main plusses were:

£25 from a Bling & Queen
£70 profit on a CCP
£15 from a DNA
£40 from OAR

Only went out with a float of £70 coins and £150 notes. Knew i'd won a fair bit as my coat weighed a ton when i got home, but never expected £230 odd in coins! Went out friday night and did a huge £80 drinks session which washed a fair chunk of that away. I was very happy to find a new wobbler here though, only the 2nd one thats been in Cambridge 8)

Had a quick scout round yesterday, but everything was still utterly trashed. Day off today, but will probably try my luck tomorrow 8)

Made a quick £40 on my way to watch the game, in a pub, not Cardiff. 2 Extremes, a Yabba Dabba and a Bully for You. Total profit this week = £305 which is some nice holiday spending money sorted 8)

Whoa!!! Crazy gamble this evening.

Tonight for about £40 in a 'Hissing Quid' i hit:

Fast Cash: £10, £12, £15 and £20 (I know £20 i couldnt believe it)

So thats £57...in between all my fast cashs i got around £15 in small £3 wins and a cash shot for £25 whilst in the all features blue and not showing any signs of going for anything over £3 for a board, also about 5 £4 or £5 repeat chance cashpot colllects from the top.

Its in my local which is never plays like this, backing from the off and didnt have forcing money on me because i just put £40 in a casino crazy (yes i know very foolish) and ended up with all of that.

Basically £40 in for around £110 i think. Its hard to work out when your taking money from the bank for more credits but i definitly ended up well up.

The fast cashs were smackng me left right and centre.

Actually crazy play from a hissing quid high low piece of crap! Obviously had loads of value in it to throw a £25 cash shot in between of £3 recycle and fast cash boards!!

Made a huge £490 today!

Would have been more but I lost £50 on a Fun Nudgin criminals and £20 on a DNA, both of which were red from the off.

Shattered now like. was out from 11am and finshed at 10pm but it was worth it.

Yep i do lose every now and then!

Thankfully its not often though. I've had no job since 2 weeks before xmas now. I had about £600 on me when i left my job, and now i've got about £1150. That's £550 more, but when you add on what i've spent on stuff it adds up to way more! Like i keep saying, there aren't any players here.....losing is a rarity!
