Cheltenham Tip

Post by harry 3 »

If anyone wants a tip for Cheltenham then send me a message. You can put what you like on but must have £2 for me also. The current odds are 12/1.

I don't play on teh horses, never have and hopefully never will, but I'm intregued why a tip would be considered important ernough info to require a PM? just trying to understand the etiquette!

I would imagine the same scenario applies to an emptier/percentage manipulator etc.

Loose lips cause rechips.

If the info is too widespread then the price will fall.

Laugh all you like, Mr Oak, but I topped the naps table here with six winners out of eight last year and napped the top world cup goalscorer at 25/1.

hmm if you've given out the owners name and the odds you've pretty much given it away haven't you. Don't like the idea of having £2 pounds on for you either, you're just getting a free bet with nothing to lose. Plus I'd want some pretty strong assurances that the horse is definitely going to run, theres nothing quite like throwing your money away on a horse that gets withdrawn because of the ground or whatever.

Thats not to say I definitely won't have a dabble though :D

er, not always. The fact that he was sitting with Nicky Henderson, who told him where the horse would run, was a good indication and will probably get Mick Fitzgerald to ride was good enough for me.
