Actually Streaked DOND

Post by mitsy81 »

Not sure if a method as such or a good way of triggering proper streak but heres what happened:
Walk in pub and dond backing not refill, decide to play
Playing for the mega streak and filling features and cash to like £6-£10 level, getting in dond middle every board, anyways about £30 in run out of boxes with just £2 or £25 left and amazingly its the £25, no repeat
2 spins later rolls in feature and is go all the way, not usual £33 mega streak but £60 odd, possibly £66 not certain now, sweet
A few spins later roll in feature and go all the way again, mega streak is £33 this time, obviously auto paying out but have like £125 pound coins!!
Any ideas whether this is best way to take pot when ready or just desperate to drop, every other time had mega streak plus some afterplay or a lucky feature streak off cash or bust when forcing

Sounds like you got lucky. I hear that GATW drops in extremely randomly, although there could be a chance you "set off" a streak.

Who knows apart from the software designer??

Lucky Mitsy - it's just cyclic - the fact that you blagged a £25 off the super feature didn't trigger the streak, it was always around the corner anyway.

£60ish + £30ish back to back

"I want to give you a lot of money!"

There's also the single flasher when the machine is very happy.

I ended up chasing one of these yesterday. Watched some guy do his nut in it, a good £50-£60 odd in notes and coins with not a lot back. Jumped on, got to £12 red, super streak and red hi/lo ko first board. I know its a BFM, but that was good enough for me. Forced MS which just blocked for ages. Finally got it after about £70 in, and it did £45. Great. Played for a few cash or busts, and got thrown a £20 cash win, and a red mystery for £5. Came off about £25 down in the end. That's so annoying after physically seeing what had gone in and SS first board!! :x

tried to force this a couple of times, once it did £25 then next board gave £25, another time it threw in a IM for £50ish, both times about money back...

not one to force.... although £70 from that happy matt is pretty unlucky going on my very limited experience with forcing them.

You should have taken the super streak if it was offered on your first board as this is normally £20+

You can normally get the feature 'streak it up' super which is MS before the usual MS wich can take a bomb to get.

Also cash countdown super is JP/ 16 quid.

Its not always mega streak, sometimes it will only offer two slow selections

Streak seems cyclical yes, a few times ive saw someone get the "I want to give you a lot of money" :) and jumped on straight after knowing it was there again. Only knew because the first went big.
