Stuff like this never happens to me.

Post by Skyraker »

This is my first post..so ello and all that...

Anyway, I popped into a pub not far from me for a pint and read of the paper and they had that Red gaming macine with all the eskimoes and stuff (sub zero?)...

I drop in a couple of quid and it is backing but you can hear the coins landing on chipboard so 'refil day' I think, anyway, 3rd coin doesn't credit and neither does it drop through... bollocks but no biggie...

I win 3 quid and collect and get this... it dumps (not pays) 45 quid within a second, and by dump i mean dump... I have a look around, no-one paying attention.. so i drop another couple of quid in.. win a bit and scrape out the best part of 50 quid from the tray.....

Fucking jackpot mate!!!

My theory is the refil bloke didn't realise that the money wasn't hitting the hopper and somehow it got stuck because this lot dropped out in less than a second....

Anyway, I love it when the punters get a result...

Cheers and great site!

had something strange happen to me on an old it box going back about 2 years ago now.totally honest this is.put my pound coin in and just droppend through and in to the cash tray.though bollocks dodgy tube, few more attempts with different coins same problem.;little did i know it was actually registering me with free credits as such.i think you could put about £15 in plays in one go.then i just played 2 50p gamesto leave £14 which i collected, did this until it came up with a big message on screen saying hopper empty or top up hopper something like that.wasnt a massive amount which i was hoping to get but was 60-70ish though dont quote me on that exactly.looked a bitt funny so took the money sharpish and didnt return for a few weekends even though it was my local

Years ago, playing some Barcrest hopper machine (Take your pick) in Big Apple amusements on Sauciehall St. Collected a win, the entire hopper emptied. About £50-£60. Grabbed it and did a bolt.

In there about 6 months later. Exactly the same thing happened, including me doing a bolt.

Off topic, but after the above event I went elsewhere and had a go on a machine I hadn't seen before (Suits you sir), it was offering 25 quid from the off but not the top feature... took me 60 quid to get it to 'suit you sir' and came away lucky to be evens... but all in all a good day.

I walked into my local bowling alley on morning, went to the snailblazer, collected a fiver only to find around 70 coins in the tray. Still not sure how that happened.

Also had a vamp dump around 60 after collecting a JP. Had this same machine do this 2 or 3 times.

Last summer I had 2 incidents within 7 days.

The 1st, there was £25 in bank of a Wheel of Wealth
the 2nd, £30 was hanging out of a cash machine.

Here's a thought, just before closing, the night before refil.... stuff up the hole, not ALL of the coins chucked into the slot will go through first time, maybe 10% will return....

Walk in just after opening and have a punt... I know it's bad, it's very probably illeagal but do you think the Bell Fruit shareholders lose sleep over your losses? ...

I'll get me coat.

i've known this to happen in services, there is some tissue up the pay out shoot, so when some one plays it and wins £3-£4 they press collect and get nothihg as its stuck behind the tissue. most people will walk away without reporting it leaving someone too go round with a bent fork and prise any money out. not seen this happen for a while now though.

Yeah I had that in a service station - someone had put what felt like a small tennis ball up the payout chute. Rather than let the bastards get away with it, I robbed it myself and took about £20 when I had only had a £2 / £3 win.
