Fun Nudging Criminals

Post by MrRed »

Anyone seen this new red yet
Similar to other reds with the number trail up to 12 nudges, skill shot etc

But it has 2 differences
Firstly when you get the safe cash you can gamble it for another amount

But the main difference is, its in a new 'bubble' cabinet (barcrest/extreme)
I think we all wondered how long it would take for Red's to be made in these new cabinets

Seems like a good m/c although it was not ready for a force :(

Great, i'll expect those in Cambridge in about 40 years then.

p.s everyone here still wears flares, and flower power is still a force.

They can still be sited, but remember if they fail test they could have one or more of the following - poor cash box results, not being played, sited in a bad area or gets emptied a lot and needs a re chip.

So..., i would not site a failed test machine. It is obvious that it will not make money.

Managed to find this full today (non daily-refill pub)

Cost me £22 for the top which gave £50 it was red straight away

Do like this m/c as you can gamble the safe cash for a different amount
On one board i was on £10 on cash stack with a 6 and safe cash was at £7
So i just gambled the safe cash to get another amount
First it landed on £3 then on £1
So i went higher on the 6 and lost but £1 safe not £7

Find this a good addition
One thing though is when i gambled from the £7 safe it knocked that amount out

I am assuming if you landed back on it you would get nothing
Which if you are on the force is good

All in all a good m/c apart from those huge buttons
( i wonder what stop and step is like on this) :D

Them buttons seem slow to react on crests so with the slip on reds, will it be more difficult??

I hate this machine!

I found it in a pub near me today and put £25 in without an offer above a fiver, and that was after watching someone else lose £30+ before me!

I don't normally play Reds but what's the deal with backing when they're not really full?

It was backing for the 1st £4 then stopped then did it again after i went for change :?

I've got this one on the Dual Stake nearby, and it played very strangely on 50p play.

The safe cash gamble option at the top is handy, but the features are a bit odd - I got the middle feature in red (called 'Mega Cash') and assumed that it must be something JP capable given its' position - it gave £9.

Got two tops costing £70 before it got very costly for a board - first time through getting the 3 symbols, the second time via getting all the features lit red. Both tops gave £25.

Thing is, I couldn't really see how it can do a £75 top - when you get the top feature it spins an arrow round the red safe cash wheel, initially giving small amounts adding up to £25, but then it carries on spinning after the JP has been banked but you've knocked out most of the cash amounts by then, so invariably it loses. If by some fluke it lands on the £25 shot for a second JP, there aren't enough amounts left for a third JP.

I thought this was one of the most boring Reds I've played. Anyone had any different experiences?

Not seen this since i found it, nearly 4 months ago

The times i played it, i found it quite good
Although this did not have the dual stake option
Cannot see it making that much difference

Tbh nixxy, i never really took notice about the amounts you got being knocked out from the top

Still the best named m/c of the moment though

I played this again yesterday, and I'm officially adding it to my 'machines to avoid' list.

It doesn't seem to make any difference whether you play at 30p or 50p stake, it just doesn't put numbers on the winline if it's not ready to pay. You'd think it'd give you the odd bonus, or put you on the nudge trail and lose - but no! fruits with numbers on simply don't land on the line.

And then ... like a bolt from the blue, it suddenly decides it's happy and becomes ridiculously obvious about it: almost every spin brings in a 4, or two 2s, a 3 and 1 or 3-4-3 on the line and starts offering nudge wins. Not very original.

One board started with every feature red but with no exchange points, and died going lower than an 11!

So, a trusted layout for a Red m/c but severely lacking entertainment value. Also, I posted the other week about it not being possible to do a £75 top because of the values available on the red safe cash wheel - I was wrong, the values add up to £80-odd.
