Southbound ?? Clackett Lane surely you are going east or west bound

Westbound - yeah there are only 3-4 machines doesn't help they dumpped a three player piece of shite in the middle taking up all the room.
Eastbound is not a great deal more but is more in the region of 7-9 and last time I was there they had a 3 player Monopoly but that was a few months back.

Carry on round the M25 over QE2 Bridge you have a moto services which is really hit or miss. I have had some wonderful times in there but it is blatenly being hit by a few players so beware. My last travel there was about a week ago.
Fruit List was something like this
DOND 1
DOND 2
Gladiator
Chav IT
DNA (£5)
Most Daunting (£5)
Lifes a Beach
Elvis £500
Cobra Cobana (Dont use the note acceptor)
JPTRNR
One other red (played well but cant remeber the name)
1 switched off

Ok Carry on round the M25 and the next services is South Mimms (Welcome Break) apparently this is hit by tons of players but I haven't been there in over a year and it seemed ok then. Got quite a few machines as well.

These are the only services on the M25 but as others say there are plenty if you travel In/Out on the other M Roads

Birchanger Green J8 M11 (Welcome Break)
Heston J2/3 M4 (Moto)
Fleet Services J4/5 M3 (Welcome Break)
Pease Pottage J11 M23 (Moto)
Maidstone J8 M20 (Roadchef)

If you dont mind travelling that is also remeber that some of these have two sides. Fleet Services for example but some genius built a walk way so you can travel between the two :D

Did it in the spoons just the other day, walked over to a red to check the balance and as you rightly say thought shiiittt I've left it in the extreme!!!

In Colchester yates a while back I keyed the red (it was 5 off) took out the key and it was still saying refil coins X 5 in the LCD. A button was stuck down VERY badly and it took about 10 mins of messing about trying to unstick the button and unfreeze it while staff were collecting glasses and serving around me. Needless to say £40 in for £75 out helped in the end!!! So I am glad I didn't leave it.

Nothing worse than putting your key in and twisting to find out itsa loose lock... you have to find the EXACT position you put it in, in order to get it out!

Cash is king you blatently know your stuff.

I used to live 1 mile drive from Birchanger Green services and would be up there everynight i love the place to bits been going there for years! I now live near pease pottage so when i travel between the two i obviously hit Clacket Lane and Thurrock moto. South mimms is full of pros gets completely rinsed there constantly in there it was good days when they had the first gen of £500s the MEGA SLOT 4 player down there some very good wins. My friend found £140 in 1 of those 1 night up there at bout 5 in the morning. I wouldnt advice South Mimms to anyone. And by Southbound i meant Westbound. Guaranteed profit in Thurrock though.

Do you remember those wierd video machines Leisure Link put in Birchanger? They were like a precursor to services having actual s16 machines in, just before Slotto and friends hit the scene.
Birchanger used to have some good ones in there. Cobra, GBC, IJ3, Beaver Las Vegas, Top Dog, Vamp, Back to the features, Homer's Meltdown.
Boy racer country that is.

I just used to travel a lot for work and plus I dont pay for fuel so it doesn't really bother me

On my way round to Heathrow this morning I stopped at South Mimms first time in about a year. I remember it being a lot wider and there being twice as many AWPs now there are about 8-9 S16's and a little attendent working there??

It was all closed off though and all of the S16's seemed f**ked  . Noticed it had a TAW and BFU
