Er. I'm stumped. A one-armed bandit is my not very good guess
I know but i like stuff like this and never really looked in here before. Hope you dont mind
BTW one armed bandit is not the one, but reading it back is uncannily similar

You're more than welcome!
Now I'm puzzled about how something can be "always old, sometimes new".
And I know it's something which is sometimes blue, which rules out lots of things.
Er. The Sky? (that's crap as well)

Heh, no worries, take it away. I'll try and come up with something shortly if no-one objects...
PS - Where's TKA nowadays, he was a frequent visitor of this 'column'.
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

)

Okies, here goes:
How did Atilla the Hun die? Plus, "for a bonus point" what was special about the day he died on?
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

No idea. But he was a midget, so maybe someone trod on him?
As for the day, no idea either. Valentine's Day?

LOL! Nope, although the day you chose sort of has some mild relevance!

Wasn't it something like sexual exhaustion from a young bride? Or is that just my filthy imagination?

Heh-heh! Wrong again unfortunately, although again, the love theme definitely has something to do with the 'day' he died...
(On a leo sayer today, so won't be replying anymore 'til tomorrow (or late tonight after copiuos amounts of cool beverages!))

Was it on his wedding night? I also seem to recall it was something to do with being about to play chess.
And I have a strange recollection that he died from a nosebleed.
Stupid punters. Telly all the week, screw the wife Saturday
