Gamble feature disabled on Barcrest £500

Post by griff50 »

I have noticed that whilst Cashino's tend to have the gamble feature enabled on all their Barcrest £500, Nobles seem to have them turned off on a few, although not on the same games, comparing different sites.

Can anyone enlighten me as to any reasons for this? I have asked in Nobles but been given answers which I am really not very confident with.

Surely I should be able to gamble on the pie on any rainbow riches(for example) in any arcade of the same Company?

The inconsistency is because most arcade staff, including managers and supervisors do not really understand the product they sell. There is no logic to if the gambles on or off.

Fair enough but then why would it just be nobles where it seems they are making decisions as to which machines have gamble on/off?

One engineer will serve many Nobles. It could be company policy or it could be something your local engineer has taken upon himself to dabble with. I'm sure the B3s in the three B'ham Nobes are gamble enabled. Some people like to pie, so by removing the gambe they're potentially losing trade.

I notice on t8's the gamble is off 99% of units.

At least it is down here. Presumably it's to stop more jackpots as let's be honest it's by far the most common way bigger wins are achieved.

But of course that is compensated by the losing pies so it shouldn't really make fuck all difference.

My pie arrow lives permanantly at 11.00am anyway so it matters not!!
