elvis top 20 no audio / no sound / no music problem

hi all,

all of a sudden the audio started hissing

I thought - no problem - switch off and reboot ........ however, now there is no sound at all!

Everything starts up as normal and I can hear that power is going into the speakers but absolutely no audio from the game any more! The only noise that comes out of the speakers are a sort of pop when switching off the unit!

PLEASE HELP!

I have checked all connections and they all seem fine

I have gone into the service mode and tested both left and right audio channels and they ARE NOT working!

Do I install the game again? Will that help? Is there something that has gone wrong with the image?
Or is the internal PC at fault? How can I correct the PC?

I would be grateful for any help whatsoever.

I think the sound comes off the MPU5 as an amp have you checked this? Might be worth trying MPU first?
