JG wrote:In fairness JPK on that site IS probably a fook up and not a chip. Not seen one ANYwhere else. Seems a bit strange that a little arcade in Fleetwood would get chipped first when Welcome Break, Quicksilver, Nobles etc no.
Nice backtrack there.

Yes there is no chip. It was to stop you from playing them. Yes it worked. Get in.

No. At McStreak (Oscar), for his snap at me. there can't be a chip, strange glitch to reset the pots upon entry/exit of both games though.

Not long after release (less than a week) there was a critical for them. Perhaps those two units are first issue?
Just a thought.

I found a JPK on £210 yesterday! I couldn't believe my eyes!

Naturally tho someone then started pumping it... but on the wheel game. And thinking about it I don't think i've ever seen casuals playing on JPK, it always seems to be the wheel game.

Back on the co-joined topic of BB, I found an unchipped one last night. Phoning early, and about 40 or so into it, the barman came rushing over to explain that you could get £140 off it, and proceeded to correctly explain most of what to do (bar one important detail). I allowed him to finish his explanation, waited for my look of horror to fade, and then just about managed to bluff him away with "that can't be true, its maximum £70 per go."

The willingness to explain something like that to a random that had just walked into his pub for the first time I find simply staggering. How the hell did he know it? And more importantly, why on earth would he be so keen to share? If the chief is available maybe he could have a word in his ear about keeping quiet in future?!
