Arcade Owners...
Arcade Owners...
Spoke briefly to a friend earlier, he told me how he was waiting for a machine in one of his local arcades and when the machine became available the owner appeared with a sack truck and wheeled it away, saying it was being removed. This person has also covered the box reel on his Deal Or No Deals with cling film making it considerably harder to tell what box it is, but not impossible.
He does things like this with real glee. Such actions aren't just reserved for the over 18's area either, as each morning he will go round anything which resets to specific reels and play a credit off just to make it appear the game has been played that morning and might be worth a look. He will also put 5p pieces in all the bar x machines to entice people into rounding the credit off.
Obviously this isn't the first thread of its kind, i've read of irate owners covering hoppers over with signs saying 'fuck off' etc but hey it's got to be better than reading spam, right?

Yeah there is a bloke in an arcade local to me and say you get a 5pound monopoly he will float it after and reset the top so it looks like its been slotted. Another 1 was 3 arcades at hemsby put blacktape on the back of the middle reel to try put you off hitting roys rolls. Iv even played a fame where they have removed the box.

I'm sure one arcade ahve developed a pattern with me...I'm not there regularly, but I'm always there near enough for doors and straight to the extremes. All on reset. Then I mill about and play other stuff and I go back to them for any mopping up (I tend to leave a quid or two value in em just to keep me busy as I'm there for 2 or 3 hours and don't want to just plough something stupid) and they're on reset again. They musta known my sequence as it's like clockwork really, same girl's been there for years. It's a sort of fairgroundy amusement place on a caravan park so there's always a fair bit of value.
