You would only need to buy one and your stake is your own choice. I also do not know why you assumed each unit purchased returns another 1x stake

If my stakes are my own choice then I could buy 50 and apply 50 different staking plans.

I could theoretically win on 1 out of 50 systems brought and get a refund on 49 systems.

In the end, I would end up making more money than you.
