Anyone else getting a bit bored of barcrests?

This isnt an anti barcrest rant as they have produced some great machines and provided me with great entertainment over the 2 years I have been playing fruity's but I just feel now all there machines just seem to play the same, even starting to find some of bell fruits and mazoma's latest offerings a little more entertaining.

Silly comment mate, most reliable, and in my case enjoyable manufacturer, love chasing AFU, VIU, SRM, TAW, BFU, YDD, PTPT, all class machines, which progress, and are easy to read, and even better because they can all be shortened!!!

Same here crosby. Big 'crest fan here. Forces never cost a packet, and usally fairly reliable. Along with reds/extremes, probably the best manu at the moment.

Yeah fully understand your views, they need to bring a new machine out soon though (which isnt a clone)

Surely if barcrests are simply progressive machines, surely this adds weight to the argument that they are a bit predictable (boring)in the sense that the only tactic is too force them outright and hope for streak and afters.

Anyway I am no fruity expert just thought I would voice an opinion for what its worth

yep, seeing a barcrest in the pub is a blessing, at least you can get JPs which you cant on Bellfruits. Im sick of bell fruits..

cant beat a bit of crest. but i do think in general a new "breeed" of fruity needs to come out.

Crests are easily the most enjoyable and easiest to read. How can you say that you enjoy playing BFGs more than crests. The majority of the newer BFGs have the same board layouts etc but with just a different name!

TAW, VIU, AFU, SRM ETC ETC are all classics

Am i the only one that gets REALLY pissed of with these when they mess around?

They are the only machines which get me annoyed to such an extent because you know that they are capable of giving that extra nudge/upgrade regardless of there state, but when there boosting and take £50, then another £30, another £30..... no thanks.

I rarely play for more than one jackpot now, or il happily take a mega streak offered inside £10.

I used to have a good run of them 18months ago, but now I don't really bother with them for the same reasons as you stated. Vamps seem to be popping up in Chicken shops now around here! [insert jokes about dirty chips here]

the trail ones are cool.

ITs seems the ones around here you have to play it for the red boost start and it normally goes in on the first board that it does start with it !

Agreed, ill take a streak if not much in, super streak can bea quick steal if you sneak up on the red on your first move. I'd prefer to play for a casjhattack hot as opposed to JP tho

These can be earners if you get ther free streak, the quick steals are cool aswell. Ther are a lot of JP capable features, even turbo cash hot!

They are annoying that they can fob you off with 7/11 7/1 or 7/7/4 even when ready, dont know how or why, but i gues thats just somit they have programmed in. This means normally one board is'nt good enough and you have to try 2 or 3, and if they cost a bomb your in for the chase.

I heard from a pro (i mean proper pro, too big for this site or SA) saying a method of hi/low for jp on fruit wins then the m.c still going off on a massive streak with add again/red active starts, any1 confirm?

Sounds a bit different to the collect prize streak method anyway...

ive heard something about gambling all cash wins up, apperently it can make this machine repeat, which you arent gonna see repeat any other way..

it should push the machine so far past the happy 8selecta back forwards lead to the top streak, WAY WAY past it, but probably cost the same as what you'd put in getting the top streak and then looking for afterplay,

alkl it does is open up the streak pots and the acumalitive win pots, letting you get a few jps from step to, tutti fruity, and s hold, plus high wins on other features,...

but, are you gonna pump it to do this? could cost twice as much as forcing a regular pot out, and still not make it roll for enough to get your money back
