Occasionally I'll count on a machine, but don't see the need for the most part. It costs what it costs, and if an early opportunity arises I can tell you with 5 what I've put in thru based on experience.

I've nicked an idea from someone else and keep a log in the 'notes' section on my iPhone after coming off a machine

So basically:

BRT 5 2
Gold 1 4
Perfect 60 99

Machine name (shortened!), £ in, £ out

Simple really :D The only catch is if I forget to charge the thing! And for an accurate result, you have to write down everything. Even the 'quick board' punts.

I do that on certain daily refil meters but cant be arsed to record ins and outs on everything. Its how you end up on the day that counts.

I count most times, but if I go to much in then I just stop bothering and funnel the nuggets in!!

I keep a rough count in my head, generally I don't see the point of counting every pound though. Obviously there is machines where I do count but no chance am I counting exactly how many coins I put in every machine!

It's easy tho 10 at a time takes no time at all to keep track and is good for discipline

i keep count of everything ,,,,,,,,,,, including expenses .

and whilst im never ever tight with food etc (jg martin n myself spent 28 quid on dinner in spoons yesterday) (two lge mix grills , one 8 oz rump + extras n drinks)

all expenses have to be factor'd in ,,,,,,,,,,,, food drink fuel etc

your only truly ''UP/DOWN" ,,,,,,,,the difference between leaving your front door in the morning , and walking back through it at night .

hmm ,,,,,, but if you go home level ,,,,,,, then surely your still up the food etc ,,,,,,,,, because if you sat at home all day , you would still have to eat and heat your house , use electric etc ??????? lol
Little discipline = BIG issue

I honestly don't see the point. You'll end up with the same amount at the end of the day if you count every pound that goes in or not. I realise I'm in the minority here!

Personally I don't know how anyone can expect to make money from playing machines without counting what they're putting in them.

What a load of rubbish. Your going to end up with the same amount of money at the end of the day. I'm not thick I can keep a rough count in my head. Obviously there is times where I count but normally I just don't see the point?

So you are still keeping a rough count then Gary. Whether it's rough or exact you are still keeping count. By the way mate I'm guessing everyone counts in their head. I don't think anyone was talking about counting out loud.
