thats actually fair comment noel

like i said , you have been more selective with your choices .

fair enough .

ps: although its your choice to hide behind your anonymity (also fair enuf) ,,,,,,,,, because of it , its easy for you to make the ''sound comment '' above without fear of somebody pulling a guilty skeleton from your closet ,,,,,,,,, always remember that.

That too is a fair point. There is a difference between hiding behind anonymity and not wanting your identity to dilute the points you're making. I apologise to 9please, and to anyone else who I've offended by posting again; but there is nothing new here: I obviously just needed to bring some clarify to what I'd already said. I will be continuing to be quiet now, unless there is further confusion.

Noel you have just used me as an example of Glendale training someone unnecessarily quoting posts in the " machine car " thread. Earlier in this thread you said it was OK for new players to enter the game as long they weren't just mildly interested and were able to work things out. Read my posts again !!I know Glendale well and training people up is not a habit of his. As I have said, I work things out and his decision to give me some direction has benefitted both of us !
Why cant you be honest enough to admit your agenda against Glendale and the hypocrisy of many of your posts.
I should also mention the occasional help I have had from other players. A couple of which are genuine top players. Obviously I wont say who because you wouldn't be interested, after all its Glendale you have issue with. I should also mention that I don't go round showing people how to play.

As for the chummy attitude of the site maybe you should read a few more threads !!

I really can't be bothered now. There are plenty of people he's started from nothing. I was just trying to say it's not great to bring new people on to the scene. As a new player on the scene it's no surprise you disagree.

I ask you one question which will surely cause some ambivalence. These new tricks you've worked out, how would you feel if he was down the pub now telling your tricks to a few mates that had fallen on hard times? Would you be happy for them to share in your local rapidly diminishing pot? Or angry at his blabbermouth attitude? If you would be upset, you can validate my position; and if not, the stuff you've worked out is probably not worth having.

Noels Beard also said that you are supported from the available resources that previously would have been shared by other players in the area.

I dread to think how many people would be doing this if everyone thought like Glendale!

Doesn't cause any ambivalence. I wouldn't want him to randomly give info away and I know he doesnt. Your position would only be validated if the situation was something other than hypothetical or you could prove that he consistently does what you have accused him of.
Could you also clear something up for me. When is someone no longer a new player or to put it another way, when do you become a " legitimate player " ?
Is it determined by :
1) time playing fruit machines
2) time playing purely with a view to making profit
3) time playing full time to make a living
4) having the ability to work out tricks/emptiers
5) posting a lot on a forum to become a recognised name

Or is it something completely different ?

Blimey that Chef usually has a cashpot out when it gets high. A player is somebody who relies on fruit machine profits as their sole income?

I haven't been for 2 or 3 weeks. Last time I was waiting for the chef to leave it but he got cashpot and killed it off afterwards. That may explain the poor pot amounts that are usually showing on that machine.
