Sounds like cash attraction, this didn't bounce on the skill cash feature,if you were good enough to hit it right it would land.BFK wrote:Which machine was it that first came out in those fancy grey cabs with the flash rippled buttons?
Had a trail to 8 I think, skill cash was about the third feature up but use to cheat you, also had a reel match low down I believe?
Use to make the high pitch bleep on each £1 that clicked out and a low pitch for 20p's and tokens or vice versa?
Use to love that game, had it in a chippy near me.
back in the day
Let The Good Times Roll was a particularly good one - could empty that just by playing it for max value per board and a bit of luck thrown in.
"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

remember it now i think, yellowish in colour? it was trail to 8 , which was unusual for these kind of machines at the time , charley manning used to have one.
i think these kind of machines were the first to give 3 feature holds on the number below feature entry for a guarenteed board , was widely adopted and still used today.

Screen Play for duck shoot,Knight time, roll in 7's and blue double bars repeat chance, Spin on It for millions of ways to get JP, Lo tecs - Hit the Six for its quirkiness and any of those JP Projects that could secret hold the JP a stupid amount of times for a bounty of tokens. Firecracker for the double or nothing gamble to the top for £4 tokens and then several holds. Double Chance for blue side and skill cash all the way to winning streak. Sunburst for JP repeat hi/lo cards. Up n Down nudger for streak on hi lo cards for £2.40 a time. Ten Ten do it again - could do £50 off the JP repeat.
Going way back, there was a machine called Nudge Bug where you could gamble the nudges for JP, Big Shot was classic. A curious machine called Money Trapper - similar to Bank Raid with the mad skill shot for a feature where it whizzed around the number pyramid and you had to hit the 10 at the top. Win-a-gain for progressive gamble. Sidewinder I liked, but the gamble proper shitted me up when trying for the £2 as a quid was some money to lose then.
Just the tip[ of the ice berg - could go on for ever here.

JPM's for the sheer playability. Roller Coaster - and the firework version..... Big wheel, Casino Crazy, Monopoly 60th anniversary, Snakes and ladders. Viz was good for a laugh and i liked Magnificent 7's for its very random streak....
Projects Giant Jackpots - for guaranteed profit - no matter where it was in its program. Monte carlo and clones - video screen heaven. Ceasers palce and Hot shot for massive playability..... along with Duff beer guides and similar......
Those were the days when machine playing was actually fun.
