the best emptier of all time

Post by eurovision1984 »

did anybody empty a cash max in the sun valley/shoppers pride?
i did & loads too.
they had them in nottingham in the sun valleys.
the trick was to play for 2 lines 60p play & if a win rolled in
on the 5th line then i had to put £1 in the machine at the same time as the win rolled in.
5 lines was £1.50 play.
it was a £125 jackpot machine.
the trick came out 3 months after ramdom spinner got chipped.
the hopper held £650.
i did it twice a week for about a month.

Snake rattle n roll was a great earner for me, there was one in a local pub months after the trick was dead, the same pub had a power 5 years later, again for several months, P5 again was a top earner.

The most money I ever made out of an empty must have been golden games. They were ubiquitous, and not many people were doing them for a long time. Even once the empty got chipped, for the best part of 1.5 years it was rare to find a set that you wouldn't make on just playing them blind to the correct method.

May have been different up North, but I certainly had the pick down South.

Yea but once they were hitting, they were amazing!
Did have a couple of 4 hour sessions in the spoons, my best result had to have been in mimms services, someone must have given up on it because it was full and hitting straight away....took 20mins for 250 plus 70 bank. Wasn't meant to bank it but had 5er in credits left and it hit two pots and as soon as it went empty the Nigerian man came straight over.

It's funny how they aren't so quick to refill the hi-tecs as they are the £500's!!

Fill your name and address out etc etc.

9 times out of 10 if a £500 goes empty there's someone standing behind the punter with a bag of coins in seconds!!

I know of a couple of BTB goers now, £25ers too but the % was so fucked I had to count credits on 25p to switch to 50p for the roll in, not worth making £4.50 if it only went super streak. Damn slow chip!
