I agree Lee.
I could still hit a Cash Counter with no sound or lights.
An arcade in Dymchurch used to put the SKILL lights all arse about face, like it'd go K-L-I-S-L and without sound.
But the weird thing was, you'd put your thumb on one of the skill buttons (I used the small blue one above) and your thumb would just go on autopilot and hit the skill without you thinking too much about it. The one without sound was no problem as you'd still hear the noises in your head. The same sort of thing happened on Cash Zone.

I got one, all you need is a air horn that they use at speedway etc, put it by the note changer and press the horn and the gasses that come out of the horn clock up £50 in the bank......repeat till empty!
ps can be a bit noisy and word will soon get round to watch out for people setting horns off near the machines!!!

My apologies, i thought i was the only one and i believe the silent ones only put a tenner in the bank??JG wrote:Damnit! You guessed my emptier. However I use a silent air horn, to avoid attracting unwanted attention.
I prefer to be in and out with 7 quick HOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKKKKKSSSSSSSS and im outta there with the hopper. I also like to wear a ski mask (seems to attract less attention).
Exactly this got me my first ever barring many years back! It was triggered when the boxes were already there and you held them without letting the reels move. I think it actually was attempting to bank something bizarre like £32,000, hence the continuous clocking up. Even if the landlord hadn't been over within 4 seconds to switch it off, I suspect it wouldn't have had enough coins to pay it all out. Stupid operators never fill em up right!feeder22 wrote:I've had ceasers bank up on boxes on the line super golden hold used to just keep clocking up. never stopped tho got a few 45 payouts
The landlord was steaming mad about it, all sorts of threats. In the end we agreed to wait for the engineer, who having confirmed there was no fault on the machine told the landlord it owed us the £15!! The look on his face as he grudgingly handed it over was priceless.
Yeah that sounds like it. I can't remember how I used to get it to freeze and RAM clear though. I think it was the same thing, but on the early chips it would freeze, then on later chips it made the bank clock up instead?kong wrote:Exactly this got me my first ever barring many years back! Sounds like the Pound of the Baskervilles trick (clone of Italian Job 2).Been-Grant-Mitchell'd! wrote: On the £8 token jackpot, you had to nudge in two of a kind and skillshot (30), you hit the skillshot on 70 or 80. It usually held and didn't register the hold after nudge. If there was no two decent symbols in, you took the feature and lost it deliberately. Every six features you took the middle. Repeat process til empty.
There, I've let something out on fruitchat. Naughty me.
It would be board-happy every 3 quid, and would attempt to spin in a board almost every credit until you got the board. The trick was to nudge in two high symbols (like two jackpots) with two feature symbols and it would give let em spin for the win or feature. Take the win and rinse and repeat. Every now and then the streak cycle would kick in and you would get a bonus towards helping you empty it.
There weren't many units, and I don't know how many people knew this one, but it was back in the days when machines weren't chipped within 5 minutes.
I had that before on Caesars Palace in the cafe. Not long after that they had an unchipped Cash Raker!kong wrote:Exactly this got me my first ever barring many years back! My friend has an original Cash Zone in his games room, amongst other old school favourites. I have an amusing video of myself missing the skill on 40p to much laughter, but my phone won't let me upload it....Been-Grant-Mitchell'd! wrote:I agree Lee.
