Simulated 1000 spins and came up with following stats.

Assumes pot goes up by 2p per spin, and takes 12 secs per spin, pot statts on 200.

£8.73 average pot increase
438 spins on average to drop pot
Lands key segment on average 11.83 times
Takes 1 hour 27 mins on average
Costs £93 to drop

Longest session: 3857 spins, 12h 51 mins.
Most key segments hit without pot: 85

Least cost: -307
Most cost: 1211

Biggest profit: 365
Biggest loss: 1084

Average profit:116

The 93 to drop seems low, might have done sums wrong...

My wheel was a number short, heres some better stats...

assumptions 38 numbers on wheel
12 numbers on bonus wheel
2p pot increase per spin
12 seconds to take a spin
stake on the key segement isn't returned if you get the pot
bet is £2 on red, £2 on black and £1 on key segment.
Pot starts on £200.

Its because everyone is talking about it suddenly like its a trick! There is no trick! Its luck! Do you really think there's more chance of getting the pot when its £500? Does it make it any more likely? Don't be ridiculous! We all know how these games work! Why don't we all run around trying to play Rainbow Riches with high pot values too? Surely its the exact same thing! There will be times you'll win, there'll probably be more times you'll lose and the chances are you'll lose more than you win both in terms of the amount lost compared to amount won and general profit/loss.

For anyone thats fussed, realised my second mistake with the stats - when "Key" is hit I wasn't subtracting the £4 lost by covering red and black, so add/subtract 48 onto the various figures to get a better idea! Certainly explains the average cost being cheaper than expected...

paddy power have their own version of lucky 8 ,,,,,called jackpot roulette,,,,,,,,,, i think ? ,,,,,,,,,,,, havent played one as all pots in leicester are on £10.odd pence etc . so dont know if it plays the same.

looks like they have left it at 36 numbers rather than 49 ,,,,,,,,,, so coverage should be cheaper ? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i should have tested the minimum coverage but couldn't be arsed.

Its not exactly info though is it Anfield? Its a gamble. If people want to take a punt and sit chasing a pot out all day then thats their choice. I don't think you're in a position to be critical of other people on here either, as i'm sure others will agree. Not having a pop at you though, just saying it as I see it. I'm sure most people on here have benefitted from what they have read on this site, and i'm sure you are no exception.
