I'm not the best in terms of footwear. I'm a runner so normally I'll have a nice pair of running shoes, then when they're not suited to my running style I'll get some more and use the old pair as day to day footwear

I spent a total of £440 on 2 pairs of 'shoes' 1 was a nice white Prada pair of what looked like plimsoles, the other a pair of Porsche Design Adidas trainers. The 2nd pair were never worth the £215, they looked like any other pair you'd pick up for £70-100 in any sports shop but I got them from the actual store on Bond Street. The Prada's felt gorgeous, were worth every penny compared to what you pay for inferior ones.

Most women will judge you instantly based on what you are wearing. It's their way of assesing whether we fit into their social group. We all do it, it's human nature.

You aren't right, you just think you are.

A money orientated woman will naturally gravitate towards men who she deems to be successful, irrespective of their education and looks.

Women who aren't materialistic will seek out the better qualities in men, such as whether they connect on an intellectual level, or whether they will make a good father.

There's more to life than appearances and looking good. But it's very important in looking after yourself hygenically. And you don't really need to spend much dough to look half decent.

If you go your whole life looking like a skank then your only shooting yourself in the foot. Even if you are a nice guy, first impressions are very important.

A lot of birds wouldn't even give you a chance if your teeth looked like crooked knocked down yellow fence panels and you smelt of shitty cheese due to poor hygiene.

I remember bumping into some player in Luton who was on an alien in an arcade. Fucking stunk and his teeth were going all sorts of directions. I just can't believe people let themselves get like it. He was about 2 metres away and I could still smell his honking breath!

Yes, but these "non materialistic" women will still not consider getting close enough to know whether you connect intellectually or have paternal instincts unless their first impression of you is a good one, based on appearance.

If a woman cares about appearance it doesn't matter how successful she is. Some women just like the look of a rough looking bloke and think he'd be a good shag.. women aren't the innocent angels they try to make us believe they are. The ones who try to be 'dirty bitches' are often the ones who aren't at all but just had boring boyfriends or ones that made them used to being like that.

Don't try to generalise women so much lads, you're making yourselves look very inexperienced!

loads of players i've bumped into look like they have just spent the last 3 consecutive nights in the same clothes and slept in the back of their motor.
i don't think the average player's diet helps. most players will have a bk, mcdonalds, kfc meal between 3-6 times a week. then theres the ginsters and pasties when on a drive and j20 and cokes when in the pub.
i remember when i used to play full time that at the end of an evening the only places open would be kebab houses and chinese take aways.

in a decent pub/restaurant and some scruff comes in and goes straight on the fruit machine i'm sure most people are filled with suspicion.

then again, some of the pubs i've been in i've stood out like a sore thumb as i'm the only one NOT dressed in 2 year old dirty lonsdale trainers, trackie bottoms and a blatently snide stone island bit of knitwear.

Latley i have been on the diet cokes, no horible kebabs of kfcs, been eating decent meals, helthy breakfast always gives you energy gfor the day.insted of picking up a choclate bar when i want a snack been getting fruit.
