Been playing semi-pro all my life and that's the way it will stay. Make enough top up cash to hardly ever touch the main salary for incidentals/luxuries. Nice balance for me - wouldn't enjoy the game 24/7 so I look forward to the end of the day / weekends to have a sniff around.

Would like to meet up with a few more like minded people just to have a chat about past days / the scene - not gold digging - just don't see that many people on a regular basis that play often.

Does the last paragraph sound like a lonely hearts column ad ??
