Waiting for trayhop to comment about this, wonder if his views are different as you 2 are mates!

I'd imagine that Martin was probably just looking out for his own best interests, in thinking that, if he keeps his home town dead it will prevent outsiders from muscling in and put them off a return visit.

Surely thats worse than doing stuff before float day, which i obviously do for the reason scott has just said so players find it dead/do brains and wont come back etc etc

You seemed to have changed your attitude about it a bit as its someone you know eh??

i haven't changed my attitude .

if it was me in the train station scenario ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i would have tipped the player off that i had done everything (and left it up to him if he wanted to pursue it still or not?)

im not martins keeper ,,,,,,,,,, i dont know the in's n out's of that scenario ,,,,,,,,,, like i said maybe they had a history ,,?????? ,,,,,,,,,,,we will have to wait for him to comment . ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

but from 20 years + of knowing him ,,,,,,,,,, i can say he's the most trust worthy person i know.

but i know thats not the issue were talking about.

were asking the question ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, would you deliberately fuck a fellow player over ? ,,,,,,,,,,,, to the point of being a cunt. ,,,,,,,,,,,,, to which martin wouldn't ,,,,,,,, he hasn't got an ounce of malicious in him.

fellow pro? If its a mate, its different
I don't believe many fellow pro's would give the time of day to worry about your pockets, i certainly don't unless its someone i know, i've been to places all round the coasts, and its cut-throat, if you stay with that routine, you wouldn't get on very well.
(but you'd probably have stacks of friends though  )

At the end of the day tray, you beat him to the machine. I don't praticuarly like the idea of other people losing on machines but it's part of the game. Everyone loses here and now.

And let's be fair, he should be able to see the tell tell signs, or at least realised that you 2 could of been potential players and played it safe. Shame on him if he forced it out from dead knowing that there was a chance you guys could of done it.

The way I always see things is, your in, make your dough and then your out and off to the next hit. Maybe next time he will try and get there before you, or do it the night before and you might be the unlucky ones to play it the next day.

Don't Get hung up about it. You made your dough so that's all the mattered right??

he could of keyed it.

He could of followed them out and spoke to them.

He could of asked people in the bar had the two lads just dropped it.

The guy had plenty of 'outs' so to speak yet chose to take it on regardless.

Personally i wouldn't put a pound in one of these before i had keyed it up and i don't know many players who would??
