Nobody is slagging Lee off, he asked for people's thoughts and he's getting them.

It's the nature of the game I'm afraid. He left it dead, a player can limit the loss. Does Lee feel bad about the others trying it after? Perhaps some poor cunt with a wage packet who hasn't got a clue?

What about all the aliens/SH's/Dig it's he's left wanting a ton plus for a board or £3 win? Or all the icons he's stolen from my %age!!!

Why the conscience now? If it bothers u that much Mr Iconhop then give up and give people a fairer game!!! But something tells me u won't.

it's his own fault for not keying it up, playing these blind is just asking for trouble.

if you only got the one out he still might of made on it with a bust..

if you got two and the bust then i hope he brought a few quid with him!

The casuals that play after Lee, or anyone else has hit the machine aren't seen by him, therefore out of his conscience. Out of sight, out of mind.

But he did see that guy start playing it, which is different. Yes he could have told him then, but when you are in two minds, it's usually too late when you decide what to do.

there are two completely seperate issues bfk m8 .

if joe munter follows on after me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i cant control whether he puts a 5ver in it , or his wage packet .

but this was a fellow pro ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

(we had both stakes and cob in quick succession )

and if this fellow pro decided to go for it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, he would have done his absolute sacks .

anyhow ,,,,,,,,,, thanks everyone for all your opinions ,,,,,,,,,,, good or bad .

thats what these debates are for .

im sure ive walked on to dead machines just after another player millions of times.

your all right of course ,,,,,,,,,,,,, i am a soft twat .

but i would sooner be that , than let greed get the better of me and be vindictive to other players. ,,,,,,, thats all
Little discipline = BIG issue

But despite all the above u still said nothing!!! Ur using this blokes sales pitch to ease ur mind. U weren't 100% sure he was a player until it was to late right? Maybe next time he'll beat u to it. Will he give a fuck next time? I doubt it!

You haven't screwed over anyone you knew.

If JG pulled into the car park and u saw him but drove off laughing it would be a different kettle of fish.

U can still go on ltd and perfects after they've been done and still make, although granted it seems unlikely in ur example. But if he knows what he's doing it won't be that bad a hit.

Unless of course it does the fabled £300 for phones. Can do it folks. Be aware.

I think Lee's attitude to the original situation is very refreshing - and not much seen or heard much nowadays.

The problem is - in life, because hardly anybody else takes that view, it's almost impossible to adopt that guilt-filled stance because no-one else reciprocates it.

I cannot recall ANY occasions where someone has warned me off a LTD in recent times - so it's very hard to do likewise when I eventually find one half-ready.

I'd prefer a world where people have that sort of compassion - but it just isn't realistic.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

I do have that compassion, but I'd find that if I wasn i his situation, I'd probably post here my annoyance at the trophy geezer rather than the fruit machine fella...cos I find people play the machines, but people warbling about trophies are rarer and therefore bother me more when they spring up.

75% of players ive met round england have been cocks, hard to talk to, care about themselves and not happy im there(even tho its always a flying visit) the other 25% make it ok, trayhop, sir rath, eddie, martal, even a player/tooler was a nice chap in bournemouth....all good lads, makes up for therest of them

had a chap nr peterboro, said hello and asked him where hes going and that, he wouldnt tell me, told me he was doing HIS fruits, I went somewhere, done the 35 hilo, and a stopper, he went in after, didnt see me playing pool and started ploughing the hilo while his mate ploughed the stopper, fuck was i telling him, walked out.

99% of toolers are just out and out criminals, and generally not nice people. Scum basically, with no regard for anyone. Some even go out of their way to fuck things up for players. But i've known a few that are half decent human beings.

Its often awkward meeting new players, especially if you are doing something you are trying to cover up. It makes you less approachable. I never used to go out of my way to speak to players unless I already knew them, i'd rather just have kept under the radar.

Sometimes i'd see players doing something new, i'd just leave them to it because that's what i'd want if I was out on something fresh. The ones who make me laugh are the ones who fall over themselves to tell you how much they are making and what they are playing, or the ones who say they have an area sewn up, and then you go round and find loads of stuff they clearly can't play.

In my experience if a player approaches you in a friendly manner its because they think they can improve themselves by watching you on certain machines. Its human nature.

I'd say that the majority of players are decent people, and appearances can be deceptive. But there are some who are the dregs of humanity from criminal backgrounds, who revel in the notoriety of it all. Some are just bullies with no education and a poor upbringing who can't seem to conduct themselves in a civilised manner. Then there are the ones who are clearly too intelligent to be having to resort to playing machines for a living, but choose to because the money is too good to pass up, and those who have a commendable business-like approach to what they do, and are successful.

There are also a lot of players out there who are making steady money, but are also deeply unhappy with their lives.

I personally don't care, like most of the replies on here, it is a dog eat dog world out there, unless i know the person then thats a different matter, you don't fuck your mates over, i remember once, i had just destroyed leicester city centre a few years back, and was walking into leicester train station (i was off to Brum) and seen some lad that was from Skeggy just coming in, he wasn't a mate but i knew his boatrace and he knew mine, i actually put my cap over my eyes and had a little grin about the trail of destruction he was walking into
