My contract is up at the end of the month so I've been doing some research for candidates for my new phone. As being a previous owner of the iPhone I saw this bad boy.

Seriously everyone who loves The iPhone have a look at this on YouTube or the apple website. The new gadget called Siri or something is one fucking cool idea. Lol

can't wait to get that little number.

Tell me a phone that can do what the new iPhone can do and is as high tech?

Its more of a question of what the iphone lacks compared to other phones. Smaller screen, non open source software, less RAM, lower speed processers, no flash support, none expandable memory, no usb disc drive facility, no video wallpaper, no ability to bluetooth files to other phones, you cant change the battery etc etc

Ive worked in the phone industry since 2002 and cant understand why people buy them tbh. Such an anti climax

Yeah It might lack in some qualities but has features which no other phone has. It has a 8MP camera with all new optics and Shoots 1080P HD video, has a bad ass duel core A5 chip making web browsing 2x faster than the iPhone 4.

And then the most unique design, Siri... Which understands what your saying. You will see how amasing that idea is when other phones begin to copy just like previous Apple ideas.

It has sold over a million copies on the day it was released which broke all other previous records.

However, each for their own and it all depends in what you look for in a phone... For me, it's definite the iPhone... Fuck the blackberry.

Samsung S2 has 1.2 GHZ Dual core with 1 GHZ RAM and 4.3" screen and came out in June. 4s has 1 GHZ dual core, 512mb RAM and 3.5" screen although hss a 330 ppi res compared to 217 ppi res. Both equal spec cameras.

Apart from the screen res, its not the most powerful phone. most apps are avalible on android for free and SIRI may have problems as its designed for american english accents, not ours.

Good phone just over rated n over priced

Yeah I guess mate. You have much more experience in the trade so your probably right. There seems to be two people though, one is the iPhone lover and the second is those who love other phones. However, I'm sure if they was given the new iPhone they would fall in love with it and their preference would most like change.

Matter of opinion I guess :-)

i might actually get one of these now that ive seen them in action.
this morning and my mate showed me the siri thing on it.
he just picked up the iphone 4s and said
"what is the weather like today"
and the 4s gave him the weather forcast!
the he said "text goz goodmorning" and it sent "good morning" to my iphone.
also the games and apps and stuff open straight away, internet pages too

shame it is exactly the same shape as the 4 tho

siri is a good app!
coming soon to older iphones too lol.

I walked in to carphone warehouse lowestoft 8.25 on Friday to get one for wife and was the only customer and they had shitloads of them. Can't believe people queued for a phone for 8 days, crazy shit.

theyre only $649 or £419 unlocked to any gsm sim in the whole world from apple.com
or you can pay £500 for a locked one from apple.co.uk
