my machine not taking coins

hi there i need HELP i have got a fruit machine called red hot fever and it don't seem to be taking any coins so i brought a new one and it still wont take any coins the coin mech is a c435a does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be.

Could be that you're not getting power to the mech to make it work. Do any LEDs illuminate on the side of it when the machine is powered up. It could always be that you've swapped a dud mech for another dud.

When you say not taking' any coins I presume they are passing through the mech then being rejected? It sounds as though there is no power to the mech...

Sounds like reelman is right... Check to see that the mech is connected properly both ends...

If this is the case then it could well be that the mech needs swapping again.
