deal or no deal

Post by Istenem »

no, i never watch it either. but the girl on it yesterday (thurs 22 september) got the £250,000.

and she was an inspirational character: very charming, dreadful misfortunes in life but with a great outlook. if anyone deserves a free 1/4mill, it is Tegen.

check 4oD for it, or it is probably on youtube.

Yeah I saw it also.

£20k and £250k left and the offer was £77k???

The one where that granny gambled between 1p and £250k got offered £88k.

Call me a cinic, but with the story behind the contestant and such a shit offer with a decent fall back I think the show made the decision for her. Knowing it's unlikely she'd swap. Fair play to her and all that but I smell a rat.

I love it when the player has bottle, fair play for turning down the guv'nor, also thought 77 (i think) was tight when 20 and 250 were left, hats off.

I think the show is a load of bollocks. The proceedings are delivered with an almost evangelical zeal. If I wanted to listen to a bunch of (possibly fictitious) personal problems i'd tune into Eastenders.

I still get annoyed when the player has dealt and gets down to the last two boxes with peanuts and a biggy. If he opens his box and has peanuts he still fucked up by dealing earlier...

It's just the way they cheer the fact that he didn't swap (heads or tails) for the better box...

I used to like the show. Fucking despise it now.

It's just full of nobodies and they try and make it into this great soap opera. I also think they all get a flat £15-25k no matter what.

And the guv'nor offer is a joke too.

Never been a fan of the show. It lasts too long really, and the breaks are annoying. Fair play to those who succeed though, it can be interesting!

Sky + it on series link and then start it at about 45 mins. Watch or delete. Simples.

the show and format are for morons, that is a given.

yes, it can probably also be fixed when it suits endemol. (what edmonds says before the 100k box is opened smells a bit like fish.)

but i just watched it through again: a charming young girl wins the top prize through guts and determination. all power to her.

cancer is God's most wicked trick but that girl Tegen deserves her windfall.
