Dealing with locals

What gives with these idiots? I don't even understand why they get involved, apart from because of jealousy. But involved they do get! Don't mind a bit of banter but a lot of them seem intent on massively firing things up.

Any good put downs? I usually find confronting them directly in a pretty threatening way works well and they usually back down - in the right places obviously! Often discuss the fact they are probably on the minimum wage too, or ask them why the fuck they find it necessary to open their mouths, with the encouragement to keep it closed!

Basically the only thing I can think of why they do this is jealousy and to try and make you uncomfortable so you dont attempt a return visit. Which obviously you want to hence the necessity to nip this behaviour in the bud asap!

Maybe the ones that pipe up on occasion actually play the machine for fun, but get sick of one person coming in and cleaning up their cash and leaving the machine on it's arse, thus removing the already limited 'fun' all together?

Of course u do get people who stick the boot in just because they want to behave like a cunt!!

Me and deano were in a pub the other day, to actually hear a regular behind us say 'if they get jackpot from it I'm gonna fucking kill them' luckily it was there for 3!! The bloke seeing every one of them!!

He came over and said how do you do that? Was a leps gold.

We simply said you have to try and outsmart the machine with clever use of the bonus. Sometimes it pays off like today but other times u can lose heavily. He simply said 'oh I've never tried that' I told him we heard his comment and he said 'nah I was only joking lads!!'

When we went out to the car and drove off back past pub he'd jumped on it!!

i know for a fact someone tried for a jackpot after i'd destroyed one, he gave up after about £250 in.

one of the worst things about playing is the locals..... constantly firing the pubs up!!!!

It's only because the locals do their spuds in the fruits. They don't have a scooby doo what they are doing, and as soon as you win out of the fruit more than once they think your doing something dodgy. Stupid fucks, they should keep their noses out of other peoples bussiness

the bandit seems to be the focal point of most pubs nowadays.
Landlord,staff and the locals are all obsessed with it.

Was out searching last week and came across an old £35 crazy cash point in a shitty little pub. Above it was a sign which read:

force playing this machine either in reel play or feature mode is illegal.anybody doing so wil be reported to the police and their photo circulated around the pubs in the local area.

Where do you start with shite like that?!?

Take a photo, send it your local paer, the manufacturer and BACTA. They will probably ignore you, but you can't have 5hit like that.

Harry perhaps you would like to create a phone a pub Friday sticky?

Then over the week people can put candidates up for phoning with a decision made on the 'winner' on the Thursday ready for Fridays barrage!

Yeh I've seenthat a few times... Once on a 70 cleudo in heckmondwicke, a pub near me had a 4 reeler with a sign saying "for locals only, outsiders who play this will be forcefully removed" <<< lmao... And another time, a local pub had a P1 35 cash attack, then a 70 dig it, followed by a P2 alien, then a pharoahs gold and it's now a mega deal. There's police signs all over it and a camera been fixed only for monitoring on the fruits, if they didn't bring in so many phat fruits this wouldn't happen! Hehe
