Out of curiosity, to the full time players: What other jobs have you had apart from playing fruits and what has been your favourite job in terms of enjoyment and worst in term of stress?

Some would of probably never worked a day in there life and I don't think they will intend to if they can do well on fruits. What about you are u full time?

a good thread , that should provide some interesting results.

very little from me though ,,,,,,playing fruits from around 13-14 ,,,,, ,,, yts computer studies 16-18 included a cpl of work placements at various firms,,,,,,,,,,,,, then did a part time 3day a week stint for 6weeks at virgin megastore ,,,,, then fruits full time ever since.

Fruits full time since uni (12 years ago) and part time at uni.

Had a few jobs when at school, and in the first year of uni holidays, working in a supermarket, data entry in offices etc, nice interesting stuff :-)

I was fulltime but I'm working in Europe right now and undecided on where I will be living after my contract is up, might be ukraine, might be london, might be back in Scotland, have to wait and see.

Before I played fulltime I did various things like bar work and other stuff, nothing exciting.

As for enjoyment/stress I dont really enjoy playing fruits much, meeting people and travelling is good fun but it was a good income. I would say my current job provides the most enjoyment. Bar work at the weekends was probably the most stressfull.

As someone who's in their third year at uni, and working full time over summer/easter.. it's really hard to adjust from being your own boss with regards to time, what to do etc, to doing something stressful with long hours, it really depends on what it is i'm doing when not managing my own time.

My only advice is, if anyone is thinking about getting a job, make sure it's something you enjoy, otherwise you probably won't be able to adjust.

Well known that im a chef Have run my own buisness and been a chef unit manager, which is stressfull! Problem with this game is even on a bad week you make more than what works worth, after tax and N.I. Love cooking more than playing but you go where the money is!

Own and run my own I.T consultancy company. It makes me alot of money, but it also eats alot of my time. But it affords me the lifestyle that I enjoy for myself and my wife

An example of the crap you get in this line of work is when some client thinks that it's acceptable to call you at 3am because email on his blackberry isn't working.

i am in charge of a sales team , salary is'nt astronomical but bonuses and incentives more than make up for it.
