That's not a problem at all
Refill 1pd*0 basically is the machine telling you it's full, as it needs 0 pounds to be refilled. Say you now went on and won £50 from it then it would say Refill 1pd*50, because you'd need to put the 50 pounds back for the hopper to be filled again.
So if it's saying Refill 1pd*0 and you've just filled the hopper, there's nothing wrong at all

do you mean that this is constantly displayed so you cant play the machine? probably gonna need 2 attatch a new lock to the refill as the machine must think the keys been turned

Your refill switch is stuck at refill position, you need get a new barrel so you can switch it back to normal mode.

Surely you can just hotwire it??

Isn't the refill barrel just an on off switch? Twise the wires together, or disconnect them, assuming there are any. If not see if you can find the socket on the motherboard and stick half a paperclip in it?!

yup it should work fine, but a new barrel is piss easy to fit, just pop it in the hole and screw the thread on it, then just connect the wire connectors to the tabs on the barrel, if the machine still stays in refill mode, just swap the wires over, job done! You can get one off ebay for a couple of quid. :)
Remember to turn the machine off tho cos you could get a shock or damage your machine!
insert 20p to play
