What is the hopper size these days to allow for that many jackpots in succession? I didn't think it was as high as £420.

Mr Move It: Don't forget that it wouldn't have been a bank of 6x£70, it would no doubt have been get pot, roll 40 or so back through for another £70 and so on and so on, so I'd say roughly £220 would've come out (unless he got lucky? ;) ).

theres a bit of leeway in the fact that the jackpots arent credit after credit, say it costs a minimum of £10 between jackpots, thats an extra £60,

for example, the machine is full already, so if the first jackpot is collected, the next £10 in coins goes into the hopper, then this is repeated, im imagining the further in you get the more it costs to board and get a further jackpot

so if the first 4 are paid from the hopper (£280) and its cost £10 for each one, then the machine starts to tighten up a lot and you manage to get a board after £20, the jackpots are paying out your stake money plus whatever was left..

id assume after 6 jackpots, you have managed to reclaim all of the coins, possibly leaving an iou, or very few coins left in the machine..

just a guess at the figures, someone else will probably correct the numbers though

It's a no2...very rarely boarding, but sometimes it'll have had most through without off someone else, you put the last 10-20 in and make good. got too deep to bail, only 16 loss each, hardly the end of the world!
