*Sigh* Forget everything boss has said then? :P Doesnt matter when you play in regards to a manager refill or engineer refill, still same chance of jp?

Also, read somewhere that if the machine's really flashy (light-wise) that its got less chance of paying out than one that isnt really flashy? Like e.g the lights flash fast to stand out and get a punter to play and waste money, and one with lights not flashing fast the opposite because its ready to pay out?

Pubs are often encouraged to do daily refloats(gamestec strongly advise this) to make sure the note changers are always on (they go off and stop accepting notes if there are not enough coins in them). Of course with the exception of 'pro players' most casual punters will want to play with notes all the time, so it's important to the machines takings that notes can be accepted.

A lot of chain pubs to daily refloats, smaller ones rarely do and normally will just have a fortnightly audit.

As for the flashing light theory. Again u r wrong my friend.

Haha, cool... :o ops:

One thing that tickled my mind a couple of days ago was, a few fruits I play on, if win 50+ ish.. Will pay out 30-40 in notes, so then does that make the whole backing theory and hearing coins drop go out the window?

As paying out alot in notes, might mean more people play with notes instead of coins, so makes it harder to know if its backing?

Getting a board within a few spins is a good sign to play for a bit, or once again, depend on what features etc get offered when up there?

I really would get this whole backing/full/hearing coins drop out of ur head. U said urself ur pub does daily fills, so it really means bugger all. If the machine paid out say a jackpot the night before and then gets refloated it still knows it's paid the jackpot out!!!!

If I were you and with ur limited knowledge I'd be very careful about getting to involved in the machines of today. Some can be brutal, if u follow on from a 'player' after a machine has been done you will lose a small fortune.

Be careful mate.

Listen to bfk. Don't start now. The golden goose has laid it's egg.

Also if barcrest really paid each pub per jackpot players would never get barred! We would probably be the pubs favorite customer!
Bored of the grind.
