Machines that are ready

Post by pound »

Im preety sick of reading this
Theres a lot of you here who say it as well.
If a machine is ready, Then its ready to pay out.
If it takes the piss then it wasnt ready to pay out lol
Stop making exscuses saying it took the piss but was ready lol
This is now my fav pet hate here.
Remember machines are programed to do this

Please do feel free to add your opinions :)

That does apply to say older electro's. For example u might see a £15-£20 ready early board but it just didn't 'land' not due to the machine being programmed not to but down to bad luck!! Obviously new versions are constantly like this so u r indeed correct.

Dig it's and to a lesser extent wars(earlier versions) can also play up but not because they are blocking a rip the machine doesn't know about!!!

Obviously more recent stuff and upgraded versions can be a right pain in the arse!! Deliberately programmed in!!

electros can be proper shit like that,
on saturday we had 4 that offered £10 - £20 on the stack and went 3rd zone but took the piss and seemed to die a bit and cost £60 - £80 for a feature.

Just to point out the most obvious thing:

There is ready for a natural and there is ready for a rip (which as far I am concerned means putting less than a jp in)

A particularly vile star wars I have plays hard.

£5 for test - too much I admit - no show.
Some punter drops in ~£10, I see a sign, a casual cig and a stroll over. The unit drops it within £15.

Another day it is showing from the outset. cp going regular £20ish. In the end I got it not from the rip but a full cp! Had to play for a second in a not so great pub. Which then I only made an extra £5 from. Still showing. Still down!
3 jps later I walked out <£10 in profit - which had to be spent in the pub because I was there far too long.

you can force the cashpot to max out, if you have a few ships and kane the features and have a add-again, when you get the middle it wont go out onto the features as its pot and it wont go out on the bonus for taxi as its pot so is forced to max out the cashpot.
i heard someone popped bonus buttons to keep player off them so they could find them buzzing every time and take it this way.

The example above I refer to it kept going in and out. Could have easy landed on nudges or question mark. I would have said it was a natural as oppose to a force due to the amount of nuggets the swine stole.

As far as popping buttons go - something I am guilty off myself on occasion. Bonus is ok but nudge is better :D

I am not endorsing this highly unsporting activity -

Ah expected this.

I don't do this popping of buttons a lot....in fact quite rarely....plus depends upon the unit....

Some areas can not be kept on top of for long anyway...
All it takes is for someone to come out diff days and catch a few lucky forces early and it throws you off sync.

Fair enough I do a lot of paper-stone-scissors style guessing about other players who do some of the same route as me and this is normally good.

As a final note: I cover multiple areas and many miles, much as do many other people here, and the reason for this is I don't want to hit some pubs every other day.

Last post on this subject

(1) I did not say I go around popping buttons
(2) Don't call me an idiot lol. It is the last thing I could be called.
(3) What does it matter where I am from? I play units anywhere from North London to Scotland.
