Impulse Flashback-Alarm

Hi all

I emptied the cash box on impulse flashback machine and now have an alarm going off with errors saying: mech note err 1.6(the machine only takes coins?? ) and also : mem reset alarm 4.2

i dont know anything about fruit machine's,does anyone know anything i can try to get alarm off? i have tried riding out the alarm but it doesn't seem to wont to stop

Could be the battery needs replacing - sounds like the machine is forgetting settings,
Could be that the dip switch for having a note acceptor fitted is in the wrong position though.
