I wouldn't say it's a losers game. Everyone approaches the job differently. Some people work normal jobs and do it on the side, some people just do this full time but there are soo many different lifestyles associated with it that you can't really answer the question generally.

It's better to ask "Does the fruit machine playing profession attract more than the usual average of psychopaths, social misfits, wasters, idiots, the uneducated, the uncouth, the unemployable, drug addicts, liars and generally unpleasant people ?"

The answer from my experience is a definitive "yes".

Of course there are some likeable, quiet, intelligent people that I have met, but I can count how many on one hand.
"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

I agree that most of the world has their share of that list, the point was fruit machine playing attracts more than the average.

I just can't stand the pissheads to be honest. I got that perfect thing very late but was lucky to find one worker, and sadly for me, a drooling pisshead was over my shoulder talking to me the whole time which cost me about an extra 60 quid to figure things out. Most pubs are just full of losers and it can get depressing, it's really sad to see people drinking their lives away.

Nothing worse than someone you've never met droning on about how he knows you, everything about you but hasn't a fucking clue - eh Kesh?

I think at least the drunk ones have an excuse... being drunk! 8)
