Getting Barred. The Basics.

Post by AMK »

Most people say it's 'part of the game', 'inevitable' or 'expected'. Well we have talked this topic to death but feck it. This week I 'somehow' managed to get barred from every Nobles nationwide. They have my picture and simply ask me to leave when I walk in! Bastards!

Anyway it's not just me this week.. A few players I have spoken to have been barred from different places.

So what are the golden rules in order to get a good ole barring?

1. Asking for change
2. Being Polite
3. Buying a 'Proper Drink' aka making an effort
4. Sending a txt or making a phone call
5. Losing

Also are they even allowed to hold my picture without my consent?

yes they are, and they also have to give you details of what exactly they have on you,

you can request details and they are required to give them to you within 40 days, they can charge you up to £10 for whatever they hold on you

chances are you emptied something or won too much

i know a guy whos barred from quicksilvers in the same way, he's barred cause he didnt get a witnessed payout on some old crap machine and it locked up and owed him a few quid.. it wasnt empty, a reset paid out what was owed, but apparently he should have got a staff witness it as it was over £10

bastards

i wonder if i had ploughd a cpl of 100 through a 500 first ,,,,,,,,,,,, would i have received the same treatment ??????

this sort of unjust behaviour should be punishable by law

Every company that has personal data over and above what is reasonable ie Date of birth, next of kin, bank details for payoll, has to have a "Data Controller" who is registered with the government. There is a list online somewhere (try google). If not phone up the head office and request their name. They have, by law to provide you with what details are held on file and must reply in a certain amount of time (maybe 30 days?) As Spyder says they can charge you a small adminisration fee for this. Put your request in writing.
Look up the Data Protection Act 1998.

This topic just goes around in circles. With the best will in the world most pub owners/managers, arcade owners etc would view people who play fruits as a profit making business as parasites on their own business. I doubt very many would be indifferent if they knew what you were up to.

Sites like this one really don't do you any favours. Before the Internet era most people did not believe that pro fruit players existed at all. I myself who was touring pubs playing quiz machines from the mid-1980s onwards used to view people I only rarely bumped into who claimed to be 'pro' fruit players' with some scepticism thinking they were more likely to be just sad self-deluding losers.

But now anyone can come on a site like this and read about your exploits chapter and verse. So you wonder why you keep getting banned? If you can make money out of it you would have all been better off keeping quiet LOL.

By the sound of how many nobles you've been hitting AMK, I wouldn't just have your picture up, it would have a ten grand bounty at the top for you dead or alive!
how about a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray.

The crystal Rooms has the best Electrocoin and the worst GGG ever. Oh and the staff are rude. Typical Anti-Player Cashino staff.

Ah! Crystal Rooms, that same irritating little fat Albanian CUNT is still the boss in there and while he lives I am barred since emptying the Arcadia in there! He still has his 2 main henchmen with him, the big black bald bloke and the weirdo... how anyone could work in that place for so long is beyond me, they must simply have no brains at all.

I remember the Albanian shitting it when I entered the data dump code on Homer's Meltdown in front of him just to wind him up once. I told him it would make it streak for every jackpot from then on unless he got a new motherboard. Ask him, he won't forget that!

I went from addict to pro in that place! Some Chinese guy decided when I got number stepper on Caesar's Palace that I should know about holding reels to get decent wins.. don't know why... another taught me about holding mysteries on Gold N Hold when it was super in the other arcade... again, don't know why! It was nice of them though! I honestly never even knew their names!!! Must be my amazing personality...

I used to go to a pub on Oxford Street, The Spreadeagle and do the Caesar's Palace in there every week, the manager was Irish, he didn't give a shit! He used to say I'd come in to collect my wages, was very friendly. I couldn't understand why it was always ready in such a hot location! He must've barred everyone else, I used to go in there with my bird at the time...

Soon enough I was emptying Arcadia in there and got barred! I guess walking in with some rather seasoned pros didn't help my case...
