fair enough bfk ,,,,,if i have insulted you personally then im truly sorry,,,, maybe the pain in my leg is making me grumpy and harsh :P

but i was generalising ,,,,,,,,, of course individuals circumstances are different .

i too spend far too much on holidays and unnecessary gadgets .

im just trying to say (and this is only for people who have been in the game 10years +)

that everyone has had the same chance to put a fair bit away from this game ,,,,,,,,, make hay whilst the sun shines etc.......

it may not be here forever ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so enjoy life today ,,,,, thats fine ,,,,,,,,, but if you dont keep an eye on tomorrow that is stupid.

You've not insulted me personally. But your 'generalisation' is wrong.

I have been 'in the game' for about 25 years or so, or since I was tall enough to reach the buttons!! of course most of that time has not been as a full time player!!

I just dont like this 'any player worth his salt' bullshit about having money put away.

Yeah of course I keep an eye on tomorrow, but months down the line or years? No.

If in years to come, I find myself without a penny or nowhere to live, I'll just become some kind of hate preacher or terrorists and be welcomed and benefitted up to the hilt by our kind country.

ok ,,,, erm im sure that last sentence is a joke m8

but as for the not planning ahead parts ,,,,, and if i end up homeless part ,,,,,, you wouldn't call that stupid ??????????????     :D ...... especially when you've had ample opportunity in this game .

Yeah the last line was obviously not serious!!

Lee, I'll say it again, just because I and others not just in the slotting world but the employment world in general, have not scrimped and saved for a future life it does NOT make me/them stupid. You keep using that word.

Its all about choice, I choose to live my life that way, but dont insult my intelligence just because I choose to do so.

You cant be 'stupid' and play machines for a living, you need to be switched on and have general nouse. At the end of the week/month after the durations slotting, all I'm saying is, that I dont think I need to put X away, so that maybe in a year or so, I can buy a better car or some huge gaming system that has 2 million games on dating back to the Amstrad days or maybe I'll treat myself to a new plant pot or decorate a bedroom with superman wallpaper thats so rare its worth £20k a sheet!!!

I think shall I take the misses away, or out for a nice meal, or maybe have a trip away with the lads etc etc. Or maybe just do what I fuckin like.

It may or may not be wise or safe, but it doesnt make me stupid!!!!

Just a twat!!!

Absolutely Mr IconHop, I suppose if I'd had half the icon boards you've had I probably have a few grand tucked away!!

Your right, I do think its foolish to play with toys and crack one off to anything superman related, but as I was trying to say earlier, its choice not stupidity.

Eric Clapton certainly wasnt stupid, he was a very talented man. But his choice to go down the heroin route was foolish. How about that?

If you saved a fortune for the future and died tomorrow, you are foolish, but if you don't and lose you source of income tomorrow, just go out and get a job at the very worst, working a normal job isn't that bad I promise lol!
