EXTRA EXTRA!! Most Daunting in jackpot repeat shocker!

Post by fruitofthegods »

Can you believe it?

Played this machine yesterday during the football and it was showing £2.40 from +cash bonus etc

was about £14 in and cursing myself for playing this shite.

All of a sudden i find myself with a no lose bonus and land on the +nudges square. I shuffle the reels around a bit (knowing of the no lose I have). It spins in 2 x jackpots on the winline. I use all the rest of my nudges and can u belive it.. i am one nudge away from the other jackpot symbol. use my no lose bonus and bosh! a jackpot.

and to make things sweeter it bloody repeated!

does this sound familiar to anyone?

These repeat more than you'd think. I always take the £25RP now instead of the top strea, which i've NEVER seen do more than £25.

The only machine i've seen go over is Manic Muncher, when i got a £40 top from that.

Nudge rip

Post by milk monitor »

This is because when it spins in a 1 or 12 on nudge squares (often first spin on feature board) the machine doesn't see that it will have to give you an extra set once you have gambled on the number. I always shuffle when on 1 or 12's an hope something come in range, then gamble on the number when it does.

Most of the time it doesn't so I nudge in the set up for the 4 bonus next board, but others time it does. This is a "rip out" i.e. money the machine didn't want to pay - so it will play extremely tight afterwards if the win is big. Just as with a 1 and 12 the machine can't see it's "no lose "when on nudge squares.

Along with the number combinations this is an important part of playing extremes, (especially chipped ones), Can anyone back me up?, I can't be the only one using this.

Most common wins are red sevens, blue sevens and bells but jackpots are possible and I've had two repeats on occasion.

Thats not actually true. When you hit start it has already predicted every possible outcome and will try to protect itself against against any outcome that isnt allowed.

I reckon i had a rare fluke-jackpot board, altho cud be wrong.

If only your above theory was true!!! Remember machines are about 6 steps ahead of us every time we press start

Nope, i'm afraid that is true. Others will confirm it too.

You can rip medium-big wins out of the machie doing this. Setting stuff up before you gamble for more nudges will unblock the win. If you take the gamble before you set anything up, chances are it will give nothing.

interesting! sounds like slack coding to me but I will definately keep an eye out on it.

That jackpot repeat has re-kindled my interest in those beast like extreme machines.

You can def rip larger wins by using your nudges (shuffling) and then by gambling lower or higher for more nudges. You wouldn't think the m/c would let you but it does on near enough all the new extremes.

I kind of regret not carrying on with Bucket Loads when I got that cash stack starting at £5, could have been a JPT in it for me (I got the bonus with numberless fruits though, so I took the £5 and scarpered), was just being a bit paranoid that I'd get a reel sync problem, like the time I got killed going lower than a 12 on Most Daunting.

But well done all the same for getting your JPT. :D

There's only a few things you need to watch for when playing Extremes.

Mystery square on the board is nearly always a Lose or Roll Even.
(but that's just my experience, never ever rolled even on these)

Be careful with the hi-lo gamble as Extremes tend to kill frequently on a 2 or an 11.
(same can be said for any machine really, but it's usually alright to do it on the first gamble though)

Keep hammering that Resucitate (or equivalent) button when you lose, you might get back on the board.
(I had a D&N do it almost every board once)

Cash stack starting at £5 upwards is a good sign, it may be a Jackpot board.

One last thing is Extreme machines can give good wins during reel play.
(unlike most machines that only tend to spin in the cherry or mixed bars for 50p/£1 etc.)

I do actually.

Why don't you stop having a go at everyone once in a while?

Fruit - why do you ask a question and then dismiss the answer when it is given, how about some gratitude? you should only say things which you are certain of, not just what your head thinks.

Another small thing on extremes is that when you collect on the question mark, the last thing in the display window it shows is what you would have had if you would have carried on.

Yeah, take no notice of that. QPS machines do it too, and its blatantly not what you would have got by carrying on (ie lose).

About the nudge set up, worked twice on a B&Q (not the hardware store) last night. Red sevens, then blue sevens straight after. Ta v muchly! 8)
