the ONLY way that they are "rigged" is that you don't get half your money back on even money bets (red/black, hi-lo, odd-even) if 0 comes in.

U could go to x amount of casinos, sometimes you will find what Mr icon-hop claims is run of the mill patterns on fobt's and sometimes u won't. Just like u could at various bookies.

am i right in thinking they give you a lot more info on a fobt than in a casino... i *think* local casinos to me show only 6 numbers?
they give you a pen and a sheet if you want.. but im pretty sure theres about 6 numbers on the board

I was wondering about the likely winner of your bet with OB, so thought I'd work it out.
I quickly realised I haven't got a clue how to do it, so referred it to a mate of mine who has a masters in stats. He couldn't do it either, so referred to some online genuis who has come back with the answer.
Apparently, the chance of finding a terminal showing 4 (or more) of the same numbers out of 10, is 1 in 275. This obviously assumes its genuinely random (I'm not going there!!)
OB should be winning this bet without issue, but stats do funny things, as proven by what JG found yesterday on the first one he checked. 1 in 275 isn't huge, so it is pretty much guaranteed that there are several of them somewhere in the UK with a screen like that right now.

BFK, I've had it with wars, its very childish to start a slanging match over a thread/entire chat board. I just thought you kind of ruined the thread with your reply. It was like having a load of smart people, a couple of professors, nice sort of snooty little show going on and then some kid off the estate walks in and says "Look bruv.... its like DISSSSS!!!!" then sticks his middle finger up at everyone and walks off.
I guess I COULD be being a bit oversensitive about it but yes, it DID seem to me like you VANDALISED this thread!!! Well, fair play, you're entitled to your opinion. I have nothing against you and we do have "Posterer" as a common character of dislike. I'd hardly say I've vandalised this place. I've made a lot of threads yes but at least they're far more interesting than the previous lot we were getting!
