I had almost exactly the same thing happen a few weeks ago.

It was the first time I've played the new version,and iwas quite surprised by the lack of jqxz ,the board was almost all green and yellow.

The pound was 940 iirc ,and I was surprised when it did'nt give the option to take it ,anyhow I cleared on about 1600ish and was expecting at least two or three quid for the effort I put in with all those three and four letter words ,but alas ,a pound it was.

I simply noted that he was not sorted for es or wizz. For an encore he went on to play Tetris, but lost very quickly. Again I noted it was due to all the mis shapes.

I hope that I have hit the mark with this posting.
Well done JG; you see you can do it. A fine post.

I saw Jarvis Cocker chatting up some bird in a pub last night. He asked her where she was from and she said she came from Greece and had a thirst for knowledge so they went on the Open.

But the first question was "Which of these is a prime number" at which point she pretended she'd never been to school.

It was a good job her Dad was loaded so they could afford to lose the 50p.

Whilst looking for a decent boozer in Sheffield, I stumbled across Jarvis Cocker beating a Paragon to a Pulp. I'm not sure he liked the Pub as he was singing to himself;

"I spy a boy, I spy a girl. I spy the worst place in the world, in the whole world."

He then collected £10, and walked away saying "I will prevail, I cannot fail.
Cause I spy."

Not sure what game he was playing though?

Nice one Messi. Not many of the playable version around these days which is obviously a pity. Did find one after a funeral yesterday and whacked in PUNCTILIOUSNESS. Stiff competition though.
