Star wars: a new hope

Post by Dano1991 »

Hey all: first post so go easy, please :) ??

so yeah star wars a new hope just been put into my local

played it a few times over the past 3 weeks. - got a red 'star wars' feature which it automatically took for me and give me £70 but apart from that its being pretty costly to get onto the board

buy yeah just wanted to ask really does anyone still play these? and if so do you have any advice or tips please?

im not new to playing fruit machines been playing for a number of years but only recently been looking into them in detail working out things which the avarage player doesnt do, so im not exactly 'stupid' when it comes to them but am 'stupid' when it comes to you guys coz from what iv read you all seem to know soo much - like emptiers?? and stuff

but any general advice (apart from walk away and the general shit which everyone knows) would be nice to learn from people who know what they are talking about and not some piss head in the pub loosing his temper coz it wont accept the fiva :)

Mmmmmmm.......

A tricky one this. Depends what program it's on my friend.

Old versions(if getting done) will lose u fortunes if u try playing it out.

New ones (if getting done) will lose u a slightly less amount of money.

My advice would be to go and play it(with coins only) get a win and collect the money out. Report back here whether or not the collect button continues flashing when u collect the money out or goes off.

That will help us establish which version u r playing.

Probably be a sticker on the machine somewhere, if its on auto payout its very likely to be sceptre, they love doin this on this particular machine and clones of it.

Also make sure there is actually a bulb in the collect button before watching to see if it lights or not :D

AutoPAY - the machine automatically pays out the bank immediately after every win.

Due to this, looking at the collect button isn't going to help you here.

Suggest you play it with caution. Learn when its obviously dead or obviously happy. You've already noted that it can be expensive for boards, if its costing a tenner for £2 then lose its probably not the time to play it. How much did you put in when you got the £70 off it?

well technically 40 pence (last two 20p in my pocket) but i put in about 13 - 15 pound.

but it was said that i have been the only one playing it so i had played only a couple of quid every night for a week and then had jack - its getting alot more attention now that its been moved tho. theres also an old man who playes it likes only play with 50 p peices.
