Everyone should print bank statements out and show their balance.

It's not so bad if you have a few accounts. But if your popping in a few hundred quid each day then your just asking for trouble, especially if you don't have a job!

Drugs anyone?

exactly that, my other half works for a major bank. and trust me when i say, that accounts are monitered more than you could ever believe. and some cases accounts frozen and then passed to the fraud department.

seen it and been told about it on a daily basis. best thing to do is is just think outside the box a little. we all know it can become quite an uncomfortable feeling having a stash or two in the house.

but id rather know were it is rather than it getting frozen, and not been able to prove were it come from, and having to explain my winnings to some knocked up little hitler who just happens to work in the fraud department, and before you know, they brand you as possibly a drug dealer or your money laundering. and so they seize the lot. for good.

which in turn then goes to the government coffers, to house the influx of non-nationals. with your money. but thats a whole other thread

A pretty good year for me.

As for saving money, i had to have a meeting with the bank who wanted answers about why an unemployed man had a large volume of money going through his account. I met the branch manager who was fine about it when I told him the truth. He even made a note on my a/c to state that strange transactions are due to my 'work'. Now I get a look of awe every time I pay coins in, as the cashier realises I'm a professional gambler. One guy even said to me 'see you next week with your coins', too funny!
Bored of the grind.
