After much deliberating as to whether to bother going to London yesterday (Wednesday), I did. The money was good as I'm sure there was only me and my mate from Blackpool out and about today in the capital.

Then it comes to me going home, so I get the train. Unfortunately, due to the snow, the train comes to a standstill just south of Redhill, and after three hours, we're told it's gonna head back to Croydon.

After another hour and a half, we are told that there's no way of getting home, but that the train will take us back to Victoria where arrangements and refreshments will be provided for us.

We get there, to find . . . . A bottle of water each, and no arrangements for us.

Bloody great!

So now I sit on a train trying to get some sleep til the morning.
But I can't sleep. Nevermind, at least I know I'll be first for doors at seven o'clock, work til around four, then go home!

A day in the life . . .

(A detour that netted me £220 was included in that travelling home time - the P4 Alien hinted me for a 1?! and £20 later went to the corner again, quite pleasantly. :) Also chased a £70 cashpot to round things off - the trudge home was unpleasant though - staying in tomorrow.)
thought p4 could not hint for the corner

That's what I'd heard, but this did - not the usual way, it said 'Hint=1' whilst two away on the left side. :? :

It also loves the cash advance / lucky 7 combo, so it's almost like a hybrid chip. lol
