Definitely hard to motivate yourself in the cold! Plus you've got the safety aspect of it - if there's 6 inches of snow then i'm not taking the risk on the roads, simple. Plus so many roads will be shut/unpassable/have crashes on the chances of zipping round a route is very low.
We nearly was'nt gonna bother today, totally agree about the safety aspect, i was going about 10MPH Saturday morning, and the car just went sideways on some ice, luckily there was no damage, we have just stuck to the main and clear roads mostly today. Its not been a great day money wise and there is heavy snow forecast for tomorrow this end.
what a stupid comment mate... roads are a joke, some people dont enjoy driving on unsafe roads...all my hits on feet I done over the weekend, so not worth today.
No snow down here yet but loved it last year(or beginning of this year) when it was quite bad although that was when i could go into town and be greeted by a dead mans leps gold and a alien in the wetherspoons!! bit different now eh!
