I like 'em personally. £310 for £140?

Was that how much the first one cost or were there a few flats recycled???

Either way a sick loss.

:o

I've always found PFs and MCs good. What stake were you playing on? You 'could' do both stakes on upgraded units, but 'fresh' 70ers were far tighter...

Someone i know swears they are brilliant. I think they are a joke really, i've had the 5SS and MS ready too and cost £200 to go in, god knows what sort of bullshit program they are on, but compared to the £35s they are piss.

Poker Face has been in the pubs for more than 2 years now ... obviously given a new lease of life by the £70 upgrade, but still a very long stint!

Costing serious money after showing mega streak is a really common occurrence, not surprising at all it took that much.

Liverpool - very true mate. I had a bit of a theory about these, probably pony, but...

...The amount of times I've played one of these and first board has offered Mega seems to be a bit too much to just be coincidental. A few times it has gone in shortly after, others it has led to a battle for the biggie! My theory was that if it wasn't played for 'quite a while' it would let you get far on the first board to suck you in. Then spit you out 70%ish of the time.

Anyone else noticed a lot of first board Megas?

Looking back, I'm sure this was something we all noted with Money Spider and a couple of other clones too. Seeing MS was either great news or the recipe for a total disaster, especially if they were too tricky to key without being spotted. The usual rules have to apply though: you'd wanna see the same board also offering 5 SS (red), all 5 big money symbols and £10+rpt (red) to really believe you're within a few quid of a top. Leaping straight to MS without offering the others is a bit of a tell.

Nixxy - agreed.

It's a continuing theme and still apllies to Bank Jobs, if you kb the mega and continue, it generally doesn't offer it again for a while if it's dead, you can't win, just have to use the best fo your judgement. If you've put a couple of quid in and get red m/s best to take the feature and accept the 15 plus raise instead of chasing, but like that's ever going to happen.
