-£267. 1st win of the season delivered courtesy of West Brom. Staying in the midlands this week with Wolves. They look reasonable at home, if incapable of scoring many, but Houllier's first prem game is a midlands derby and it'll be tight. 15/8 High St, a slightly better 3's Betfair.

Accas:

Homes: Arsenal (2/9), Blues (5/6), Fulham (7/4), Liverpool (4/9), Wolves (15/ 8) (nap), Newcastle (10/11)
Draws: Blaclpool (9/4), West Ham (12/5), Bolton (3/1)
Aways: Chelsea (11/10)(nb)

-£367. Nice start for Houllier. Still expect him to come a cropper at Spurs today. Spurs Evens High St., no better 2.04 Betfair.

Accas:

Homes: Blues (9/5), Spurs (Evs)(nap), City (4/9), Liverpool (1/3), Chelsea (8/11)
Draws: Stoke (23/10), Sunderland (5/2), WBA (12/5)(nb), West Ham (11/5)
Aways: Wolves (9/4)

I would'nt take that bet if you gave me till Christmas, Mandaric does go through them, i would have prefered O'Neil if i'm honest.

-£267.

Merseyside derby looks likely to end in a draw for me. Both teams struggling for form, with Liverpool's offfield issues supposedly resolved they might get a boost, but both temas will be desperate not to lose. 2/1 generally around High St., so thake the 3.3 available on Betfair.

Accas:

Homes:

Arsenal (1/3), Bolton (5/4), Fulham (9/5), Man Utd. (2/7), Newcastle (17/20), Wolves (13/10)(nb)

Draws: Everton (2/1)(nap), Blackpool (11/4), Blackburn (9/4)

Aways: Chelsea (8/11)

-£367. Liverpool mighty poor. Hodgson hanging by a thread but Rijkard would fare not better.

Albion look the pick of the bunch for me today. They outplayed Utd in the 2nd half at Old Trafford last week and should be capable of scoring against Fulham. Fulham draw specialists away but 11/10 ( no better 2.1 Betfair) is a good price for WBA.

Accas:

Homes: Blues (5/6), Chelsea (1/ 8) , Sunderland (7/5), WBA (11/10)(nap), Man City (11/ 8)

Draws: West Ham (12/5)(nb), Liverpool (11/4), Stoke (11/4)

Aways: Bolton (19/10)

-£257. Bolton look the stand out price for me on this weekend's coupon. Liverpool haven't won in 5 away games and have only scored in 1 of them. Bolton don't lose many at home, even to big teams. Draw possible, but at 23/10 High St. and 3.6 Betfair, I'd go for the Bolton win.

Accas:

Homes: Arsenal (1/6), Everton (4/7), Fulham (5/6), Man Utd (8/13), Villa (5/6), Newcastle (6/5), Bolton (23/10)(nap), Blackpool (9/5)

Draws: Wolves (5/2)(nb)

Aways: Chelsea (1/2)

-£357 Have Liverpool turned the corner? Well let's see if they can stand up to Chelsea this weekend (I think not). Chelsea are Evs High St, a slightly better 2.12 Betfair. It'll be a massacre.

Accas:

Homes: Blues (10/11), Blackburn (5/6), Fulham (6/5), Man Utd (1/5), Sunderland (11/10)(nb), Arsenal (2/9), WBA (5/2)

Draws: Botlon (9/4), Blackpool (5/2)

Aways: Chelsea (Evs)(nap)

-£457. Liverpool marginally on the mend whilst Torres hits form, conincidentally in the run up to the January sales.

Wigan are quick on the draw lately (3 in their last 5 home games) and I expect the same today as they play host to WBA (3.45 Betfair, a less generous 9/4 High St.) Bit of a drawfest all round in the Premiership today I reckon.

Accas:

Homes: Man City (2/5), Spurs (8/13), Stoke (27/10), Chelsea (2/9)

Draws: Villa (13/5), Newcastle (9/4), West Ham (13/5), Wigan (9/4)(nap), Wolves (21/10)(nb), Everton (23/10)

-£557. Had a weekend off last week as I was out of the country.

Spurs look the miost promising this weekend, (Evs High St., 2.12 Betfair). Their normal Champions League hangover should be offset by them having a Sunday game and Liverpool are inconsistent. There'll be goals anyway, that's for sure.

Accas:

Homes: Bolton (4/7), Man Utd (1/4), West Ham (Evs), Newcastle (4/1), Spurs (Evs)(nap)

Draws: Everton (14/5), Fulham (23/10)(nb), Wolves (11/5)

Aways: Arsenal (6/5), Man City (6/5)
