My F**king Day

Ok I don't wanna keep harping on about how much bad luck I get but let me explain the type of shit I have to put up with.

I had a very heavy night last night and woke up this afternoon with a sick hangover, but that is my own doing.

Anyway, I don't have a car at the moment but a friend of mine had a day off and said he didn't mind running me to a couple of hits as he was bored. There is a pub near his mums with a dig it in. So he drops me off and says he'll be back in 30 mins.

In I go, it's holding and shooting £5 straight away. I know the bloke that works in there and he comes over to watch, not wanting him to see how it's done when I get what I'm looking for I make sure I've got my pint near empty and ask for another, while he's pouring it bloop blip blop I prise it in. I play daft and say it just shot the diamonds. Just as it starts to bank......POWERCUT!! Whole pub goes out, no foul play as he's there on his own and the landlord is out shopping. So sit there till my mate turns up and still nothing. Leave number etc and hope it's either banked or will be ready tomorrow.

Next pub, electro. Amazingly ready for 2. For once no play ups and about £30 in for each one so a nice £80 raise. Begin to collect bank and it goes off. Comes back on ok and money still in bank. Press collect and off it goes again. Call bird over to witness. Does it again. I get the usual leave name etc etc so I go the next pub.

Red has gone but I get asked for a drink so have a quick half, it's been replaced by a starwars so I have to check it just in case. Incredibly it's £21 for a board. £5 board. Collect it out and it's chipped. Great.

One more pub close by. Another change. It's a pokerface. Now I quite like these so I give it a bash, not much happening but 3rd board offers 5 strikes. Good enough for me so I crack on. £80 in for red PF and it goes for £140 at last a touch. Get another board and it's still there. Manage to prise in a normal PF with extra life and add again, the landlord comes over as it's spinning in the wins. Great he's gonna see a £210 bank. He's a miserable cunt at the best of times. He goes mental when he sees bank and tells me to take my money and never come back. He said the machine only came in that morning and can't payout that much. I explain politely that it can but he's having none if it. So I start collecting the bank it pays out about £90 and goes empty!! I was £80 in so they must have floated it with fuck all(gamestec again) so I then tell the landlord, whose reply is tough shit nothing I can do about it. So I say ring the supplier. He refuses. So I offer to and say that they will explain to him that the machine can pay out big thus proving my innocence. He tells me to leave or he's calling police. I say that's fine I've done nothing wrong. He goes to back and comes out 5 mins later saying they are on way. Ok I'll wait I reply.

Ten mins later 2 blokes walk in and ask the landlord is this the guy? They tell me to leave as I've ripped the pub off or there will be trouble. I'm on my own as my mate is in the car and I'm not a fighter anyway.

So there u have it good profit on all 3 but I've come home down and banned from a pub!!

My mate asks me why I do it? I couldn't give him an answer to that.

Grammar and spelling mistakes will have to be excused, I can't scroll up to correct them on a bloody iPhone!!

Shit day, still got a hangover, pissed off and fucking hungry!!

I feel for you mate, i've had my fair share of shit, and i too have had a genuine powercut, a workman had gone through the cable when i was £90 odd in, you do sometimes think the world is against you! What are you gonna do about the outstanding pokerface money then?

I'm gonna ring gamestec about it tomorrow and hope for the best, but I can't see me getting it to be honest. But I will keep on at them as at the end of the day it's over a ton!! I reckon in my time I've had about 7 or 8 genuine power cuts!! Nearly always at the crucial moment!!

Chances of getting your £120 back are slim to none mate - one of his goons was playing it, not you. I'd guarantee you summat though - he wouldn't get away with it.

Atrocious luck all round and having to suffer the indignity of walking out that pub after being threatened would have been the final straw for me. I would of flipped me lid lol.

I often think about the film Falling Down in these situations. A little too close to reality at times.

Sorry to hear this shit mate

But you will not get the £120 back off Gamestec they owe me a £93 and a £54 one off the same hi lo that did a roll in both times
This was in November last year i have wrote to them a few times no reply nothing
Pub says its not their problem blah blah blah

And the one that went off 3 times will have had its bank wiped and you wont get that either

I had a TIOLI do £85 and hopper jam at £80 in the bank
Barman says i will take your details
I said switch it off and on it sometimes works
NO not allowed to mate i will take your details
Bollocks to that i said turned it off and on and it corrected itself and gave the remaining £80
Then he says right your barred now WTF

Always press bank on a TIOLI, i had the same problem as you red, and it did pay it after a quick switch off, if you press pay to spew it all at once these are prone to hopper jams, you will normally get your money after turning it off/on, trouble is any extras are lost.

Me and aidan from ips had a problem in a games tec pub a couple of months back and he rang them and they were really helpfull! He did have a mobile number of a manager so can pm it if helpfull and if hes still got it!

I've discussed gamestec on here many times. Yet another machine they have sited with not a pound in the hopper. They are the guilty ones not me.

I mentioned on here before that me and dean had to put money back inna deadmans cos they had floated it to nothing on audit day.

Crooked and bent as fuck. The lot of them.
