pub in crewe yesterday machine was switched off i switched it on couple of quid in left it. landlady stormed down the stairs un plugged it straight away i said i was goin to play that she said it doesn go on til around 8 in the evenin u broke the law by switchin that on obviously it ad bin ripped had a luminar notey on it for a start.

And FIreball could be really nasty if it wanted. I don't know how to play it apart from Steppa Suprise or whatever, but apart from that I'd just make the stacks uneven because it loved to kill on even stacks

Going in for a 4 reeler and not buying a drink is just ridiculous and that person deserved all the heat they got, there's a difference between going in for a machine you know you might make 30-40 on, buying a drink and maybe even some food and getting it switched off on you for no real reason, and going in not buying a drink and taking the hopper out of a machine and leaving with your pockets jangling. That's just cheeky and makes it worse for others.

What is it with chefs or microwave operators if we're honest? they are always interested in the machine, i've had a few boozers i've been barred from, no doubt due to the nosey chef putting a bad word in.

im a chef (a proper one!) only reason you'd get barred from where i work is for using full on emptys, which you wont be able to anyway, as they are all really old club machines

one place i used to work, we banned a few guys for keying the extreme, and then had the lock unwired.. also there was another machine that was an emptyable, we just rang up and got rid of it...

It's a dog eat dog world i'm afraid, i'm a chef full time and player part time, i only got into the game through working in pubs, don't know how, i just did. I also admit to getting people banned from machines but in the reverse i've also stopped people from getting barred, it's handy knowing a chef, i know most of the bar staff in the pubs round my town just from working in the trade, it is that close knit, i've stopped people from getting barred and have passed on details of refill days, program updates. I chat way to engineers when there in, some good info can be found from being friendly, program updates on certain machines etc. Some stuff they wouldn't be so open about with normal punters coming up to them.

the pub near maccyD's in dford has a very nosey chef, allways saying shit like "how many machines have you done today". ive stopped going there till they change machines as a tioli and cyc aint worth getting barred for to find out theyve been replaced with a dig it and a sw-empire or lep and alien or 2 reds or summink lol.
