cap'un tatty ...there was another hi flyer by bellfruit in the early 90's it was about at the same time as the ace(who did another one called open the box)
this high flyer was a lowtech 4.80 that did big 2.40 repeaters and used to go in to delayed starts like the seven heavens when ready.
i'm sure bank job was an 80's bellfruit
there's been several pac-man games....the first back in the 80's was a classsic.
pink panther has been around for a while also ,in different guises .hitech ,lowtech ,club and s16.
pot of gold has been duplicated also
smash 'n' grab was an mdm cat d aswell as an old school fruit and inevitably something else i can't remember lol.
that's all i can think of on a hangover off the top of my head

That's the one. You reckon it got pulled because Crest got a bit peeved at the blue-red? This wasn't pick of the pack type, it was proper change the board positions as well.HornyNick wrote:Was the BFG Hot Rod the fishing themed one where you had to physically fire a pinball on the top glass? I loved that machine!Captain.Tattybojangles wrote: Hot Rod(Barcrest and a failed test BFG I think)

Oh yes, Open the Box...That's had a fair few outings from Ace, and Barcrest twice. Hated the lotech though!mr lugsy wrote:

And Smash n Grab was an old Barcrest MPU4 like Grab the Bank. One of these was made illegal
Big Shot has also had an MPU3 and MPU5 release. One of the later MPU3s that I don't take to with faster stopping reels. Now it's known as the Red.
Rocket Money is another Red that used to be an MPU4 Barcrest
Quite a few brands cloned about, Pink Panther, Cluedo, Monopoly, Bullseye, not DOND, Crystal Maze, some aren't directly the same name, but the names still stand.
Re: Machines with the same name
Ace also made a game called cash attack, about 25 years ago. It had microdots on it, as did most ace machines of that era.Mr Move It wrote:I joined a discussion on Fruit Chat last week on Rainbow Riches. Up to that point, I only knew it as one machine (the Road To Riches clone), then I realised that the forum members were talking about a different Rainbow Riches. What other machines do you know with the same name? I can think of three:
Cash Attack - is a clone of Supercharged, but it's also another Barcrest from the £10 jp era, before my time. The old Cash Attack had a chess board that looked like the superboard of Fruitopia and I think you had to hi-lo yourself through the board.
The Italian Job - is 3 Maygay machines. First one was a clone of The Mob (before my time), 2nd was based on Madness. 3rd one had normal/extended board with shots, bit like Royale Banker by Bell Fruit.
Hi Lo Silver - an old JPM game, rather like the old Cash Attack where you had to hi-lo yourself up a chess board. But it also seems to be a newer Red Gaming machine too. Clone of Indiana Jones if I've read correctly?

i like their cash arena with the mirrored features ,was that the one that gave you 3 chances to get a bonus quid when you potted it?
revolution was an old castle aswell as a crest i think.

Was it called Revolution or Revolver? Either way, same name.
Pie Factory, Six Shooter, if you can count the quizzer type,
Hmm, I might be tired, or my ideas are just running dry. Empire did a Money Monster, but it wasn't Mental like Mazooma or Mad like Reflex. Ah! Big Chief was a Crest twice. The 1991 with the big dot display.

Yeah used to play Ace Fireball. Rare clone of Hot Shot and Caesars Palace. From what I remember, there was a skill involved jackpot feature on the barcode and I'm not talking Roman Reels/Roll With It or the Up Pompeii.
