When was the £8 jp era Feeder? My 'time' was late 2001 onwards. I'm aware that £15 jp was 1997-2001 inclusive but I thought it was £6 before that?

Cheers PMK. I'm hearing that the next jp could be as much as £150 and certainly won't be lower than £100. Not far off from being club machines now - an area that I've hardly explored.

Post 100 would be sick, imagine the chase on those fuckers 500+ for a flat top anyone? All the other jackpot amounts have lasted a while but can anyone tell me why the transistion from 35 to 70 was a couple years?

I'm guessing it's something to do with the Labour party, as they were more relaxed on gambling laws. Abolishing bingo tax etc. In fact, in the 13 years that they were in power, the jackpot went from £15 to £70. Let's see what happens under our new Conservatives semi-gov't.

They'll approve anything so long as it fills their coffers.

im not in the least bit worried by a jp increase ,,,,,,,,,,,,, but im scared shitless if percentage based gaming gets ditched in favour of random's in the pub sector .

are there any genuine industry insiders reading this ?????? that can shed some light as to if/when this may be implemented .

why hasn't it already etc ??? ,,,,,,,,, is it a law issue etc ?????????
Little discipline = BIG issue

I heard that one of the main reasons for pub-AWP's sticking with the percentage based format was to secure a guaranteed return for the establishment where ther are sited.

Random paying machines cannot give this security. Plus could you imagine the look on the publicans' face should his machine "randomly" pay out four £500* jackpots in one day?

*£500 was just a guesstimate based on current random machines.

I guess that by their logic it levels the playing field somewhat so that nobody can have any kind of advantage over anybody else if its all random, basically trying to make players lives a misery in the process as well!
