vivid door 76 fault

hi all after playing and loving fruit machines i thought i would buy one for my house , i put a bid in for 1 and then realised it has a fault, when powered up the fault code is door 76 , the owner said it can still be played and will go all the way to jackpot , but wont take or payout any money, so any suggstions would help please,,

p.s the machine is vivid and its called pie factory

i just loved playing pie factory and jumped at the bid, all in all the owner said it can still be played like normal but wont take or give payout, so hopefuly it wont be a big problem

if the machine is coming up with and Alarm code then it sounds like your top/service door has a double door switch, (one for the door it's self and one for the lock.)

check both of these

machine wil be in a 'demo mode' (which is what you descibed) if any of the door switches are open.

there is also a door switch for the cash door
